Is that the helpful quota? One thing?  If so, I think I've been helpful at least twice. And if the quota is one thing every 6 years, I'm good until 2022. Sweet!

I realize this post is not at all helpful to the thread. But it had to be said.

I have the solution...it is perfect and fair (though perhaps not easily enforced as its content might be viewed as seriously subjective).  Eliminate pet/non-pet loops and instead begin asshat/non-asshat loops or idiot/idiot free loops.

The idiots can all stay in one loop together. Would that work? :smartass: :rofl2:

Cool idea! We get poop gas mileage when we are towing the 5th wheel...as in maybe 10 miles to the gallon. We get 16-17 with out the tow. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it to store? If you do mind me asking, just ignore the question completely! Hahahahaha! (Insert laughing emoji here...I can't do it on my phone.)

Thousand Trails can be good but you have to research it. look for a USED membership get the membership # and call the main TT office to ask what that membership includes. They are not all the same, ours can make reservations 90 days away and can stay in one park for up to 21 days, then we can go direct to another park. You could always try a zone pass but make sure you get it in the area you want to camp, that's a good way to try it out without getting trapped in something that might what you want.
The Orlando park is nice and also big but very crowded and hard to get into in the winter as it's full of snow birds, good luck and ask any questions I just hope I can answer them.

Or get some PVC that the branches will fit in. Cut off the bottom at an angle (forming a spike) Pound the PVC pieces in the ground, with a little bit sticking up, and put the vertical branches into the PVC sticking out.

That's how we put up flagpoles while camping with Scouts

I like the idea of hanging the sign. What about taking three pieces of cedar (branches). Put two in the ground and the third across the top of the other two and hanging your sign from the third branch.

I taped the picture and the graphite paper down and just basically drew over mickey with a pencil. When you take the whole thing off you have a great outline to follow! Besides the graphite paper, the next thing that made it easy for a non-painter was using the paint pen to outline. The hardest part is getting straight lines with a paint bush; so, I outlined in black, painted, then outlined in paint pen again. That took away all the "oops" moments from the brush painting.

The whole project only cost about $20.  I bought the pre-fab pine wood round at Lowe's for $10. Graphite paper was $2.99 at Michael's and the acrylic paint was $.99 a bottle - also at Michael's. The next step is figuring out how to display the thing. It is a bit on the heavy side, so I stuck between using a heavy metal stake or adding big eye screws to the top an hanging it from an "L" bar.  Would love ideas or suggestions from you guys!

I am creating what basically amounts to a paint-by-number camp sign for our next trip to the fort!  I used graphite paper to trace the mickey, outlined with a paint pen, and filled it in with some acrylic paint.  I traced the letters and filled them in too!  Will add our name to the bottom and maybe our own little hidden mickey!

Can't draw. Can't paint. But I love it!!

We have been to WDW many times during our spring break which usually falls mid-March and never had any real issues with the parks being over crowded.  And with your early spring break the weather will stil be pleasant.  You will also be there during EPCOT's flower festival.  Enjoy!

We went around that time this past year. It was very manageable. I think it would be overwhelming for a first time visitor but if you're a veteran you know where to go and what to do, so you should be fine.
    Happy planning!

I mean, if I'm being totally honest with myself (as a fellow crazy person), it's not like I would deceide to stay home because of the crowds. :nahnah:

Exactly, Spring Break means different things to different people.

We've been many, many times in March and April.  To me, it's not a big deal at all.  Nowhere near as crazy as around Christmas or summer.

And, no matter how crazy WDW is, the Fort never gets that way. Even when every single site is full, it still never feels packed.  And, I've been on New Year's Eve and the 4th of July.  It never is too crazy.

Easter isn't until April 5th next year, so March shouldn't be super terrible.

I should have clarified that when I was talking about "spring break" I meant the couple of weeks when it seems the majority of the country's schools are out - usually in April.

    As a point of reference...

Easter last year was March 31.  MK hit a phase 3 closure on March 25.

Easter in 2012 was April 8.  Some parks were very close to capacity closures on April 4.

Steer clear of the weeks around Easter and you should be ok.  :)

Our daughter has a HUGE fear of dogs.  Big or small.  Unfortunately there was a large black dog in the 100 loop with us in May.  Fortunately, the owners were good pet owners and the dog was a good animal (did not approach us...which would have been hard as Boo walked waaayyyy on the other side of the road, as far as she could get from the dog, walking as quickly as she could...poor thing); the dog was by the owner's side the entire time and never barked.  I did ask a CM about the animal, but the gal was from housekeeping and didn't have much information.  Had the dog been a problem, we would have gone to Disney...but (for us) the key is to be a good pet owner.  Your little pup is cute and small, but would still scare the crap out of Bailey if it ran up to her, so just make sure to be a good pet owner...which I'm sure you are
