  1. I agree, something not connected. I still vote there is disconnect switch somewhere in that TT. Nacole, would you mind to post exact model of your TT?
  2. Most disconnects are mini red "T" handles. They are made to stand out as most times when looking for one you are in a panic..,.usually very near the battery, assuming your battery is on front A frame hitch, the disconnect is probably in front compartment.
  3. Battery:?do you have a quick disconnect in the front storage compartment? Make sure it is not disconnected. Wax: we wax at least once a year, and am considering this product as another reccomendation and all reviews seem positive. Www.washwax.com
  4. Well it is definitely a start. Could our letter writing compaign have paid off? I also thought this was a DIT thread, but no cinnamon rolls so it must be legit!
  5. Take your TIME! Your walk through should last no less than 1.5 hours, realistically 2. If it takes 4 that is fine too. Like they said above, do not let them rush you. Make a list (a lot of great information from this thread alone) of items to check. If it moves, make it move in both directions, if the jacks are down when you arrive, take them up, and put them back down, awning out, roll it up and back out, etc....... Take a bottle of water with you, place it in the freezer when you begin your walk through, and see if it is slushy or frozen when it is over. I would NOT TRUST this dealer and wou
  6. X2....I Never have my trailer plugged into the truck and shore power at the same time. Even when setting up or breaking down, trailer to truck plug is the first thing disconnected and last thing connected when leaving. We always use stabilizers and tongue jack when doing an overnight stop, just to help with movement while walking around inside.
  7. I wonder if the AK mug will have all of the Plywood Green walls depicted?
  8. "New automated bus dispatching software" I thought TCD already had this installed on his MB.
  9. No wonder. I live near the Bristol Motor Speedway and this week we are inundated with campers from all over. In my daily travels over the last two days alone, I have passed 9 campers with blowouts on the side of the road. Everything from Motorhome, to 5'ers, and TT. Makes me think I should change my tires out annually.....
  10. Yes, what TCD said, and now there is another thread titled mouse turds and F bombs. I am so confused.
  11. Love the new title. Will we ever get to hear the rest of the story?
  12. Fancy gap is not that bad. I pulled a 10K enclosed equipment trailer up and down in the fall with a F250 Gasser with no problems. The problem, IMO, is the fog and slow moving vehicles. It seems to always be foggy, and there are several twists and turns that can cause you to round the corner and have to stop quicker than normal.
  13. I will count my lucky stars, the dealer I have worked with has been top notch. Both warranty repairs were completed, one on time, and the other a week ahead of schedule! All I can do is read some of these stories and shake my head. Nacole, I am sorry you are having these issues, hopefully you will find your JAYCO the solid build we know and you won't have to work with this dealer on post warranty issues. I really think you should document this entire experience in chronological order and forward to both management teams at CW and JAYCO.
  14. Search this forum for "Instant Pot" or look under the "Fiends making Healthier Choices" thread. A lot of the information you are asking is answered there.
  15. Regarding post #155, your peaceful morning at the fort. I felt like you were following me, or I was following you. If you recall that is the morning I passed you on the porch of the Trails end. This is one my favorite times of the day and I really enjoy visiting all the places at the fort while there is so little activity. This TR reminded me of so many things that morning (I am not the picture taker, that is DW's job). I also stopped to watch the crew refill the sand in the GC parking area, witnessed the one legged bird on the railing, and felt like a non-fiend when I attempted to go into the
  16. We reccommend New Greene Acres campground in Walterbors SC. Easy off/on to I95 and very inexpensive. All sites are huge pull throughs and several are full hookup if needed.
  17. Grandparents always had the best TV programs! HeeHaw, The Rifleman, Bonanza, The Big Valley, just to name a few.
  18. Maybe we should plan our own scotch & bourbon tasting for the GG in the fall. Each brings two or three of their favorite bottles and some extra glasses. Whadda ya think?
