  1. Yes did wonder if I was insane, attempting this. Took two tents this time and really wish I hadn't as it meant taking two AC units, which was mostly why the car was so packed. I already had a portable 1000 BTU unit, and also picked up a 5,000 BTU window unit.
  2. I was hoping to post this from tapatalk but I think I've just about figured out how to link photos from google so giving this ago. SHout if the photos don't work. We booked this trip last July after sitting around last July 4th and feeling a little isolated. A few months ago my wife's cousin Sinead from MA says she really wants to do Disney, my wife invited her along on this trip thinking she would say no as she doesn't do camping. She decided she'd give it a go, ok didn't have a problem if she was willing to come out of her comfort zone to do Disney(I'll come back to this later).
  3. The last time I was in 1500 the site to me had a sign up, proclaiming population 12. If you are going to break the rules why not advertise it on a sign. Not to mention the tent behind the site on the canal, and the several cars etc.
  4. I was pleased to see security driving around 1500 loop on the 4th. They seemed to be noting sites with multiple cars/ cars overhanging the pad, I also saw them stop and talk to someone with a dog in a tent. They didn't seem that concerned by anyone's setup though, nothing extremely large in 1500 that I saw, although the site next to me did have a hybrid that was about 23ft, so guessing this was just within the limits, such that they are?
  5. I didn't realize there were QS places at AK that took TiW, will have to remember that for next time. Doubt it will ever be linked via the app though.
  6. Given the amount of sand I've just brushed off my tents as I've put them away after a week in 1513, I'm hoping this will work better.
  7. I used this last New Year's Eve at the Electric Umbrella in Epcot, if it wasn't for mobile ordering I think we would have skipped dinner. This was right after the earlier fireworks and the lines were out of the door. Ordered, walked past everyone to the pickup counter, maybe two people in front of me.
  8. Last time I was there you could pretty much tell who at the smaller pool were staying in the cabins because they were all using the towels from the cabins.
  9. I'll be at the Fort next week but avoiding the parks on the 3rd and 4th, will check out the photo studio though.
  10. Wonder when in July WDW will have these, my daughter has just seen this.
  11. Watched this last night, the only slightly negative thing I would say is that this isn't going to help with all the people that get confused between Fort Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge. They kind of gave the impression that the DVC cabins at Wilderness Lodge were at the fort.
  12. Glad it's after July 4th, heading that way on July 1st depending on how long the kids last in Lilo & Stitches playhouse
  13. True although some parts more than others,. It's not something I'm looking at booking for the next trip anyway, although maybe in November, and as I said I don't understand the complaints because I view this as my issue not Disney's.
  14. Comparing the cost of these to the Disney Golf cart rental prices it doesn't actually seem bad. While obviously, they won't help getting around the Fort, if you are mostly using a golf cart to get to the bus stop or the boat then Minnie Vans are actually cheaper. 15. I made reservations for Mythos the first time we did Universal,in 2016. Never made it as I couldn't get my son to leave Seuss landing. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  16. They also do a self-guided tour of the processing plant which is quite interesting. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  17. Not sure how far this is from you but I go to Mixon's fruit farms quite a bit. Nice orange swirl ice cream and farm shop. Taking my parents there when that visit in a few weeks. https://www.mixon.com/ Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  18. The line for the Kong ride seemed to take ages when I did it and that was the express line as well, that corridor seems to go on for ever. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  19. Yep they do Fun passes or they did in 2016 anyway Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  20. Looks like most MK Table Service restaurants are serving acholol now. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  21. Water parks sounds good, I must have mode half a dozen or so trips to Legoland in the past year and still haven't checked it out. I do like the floating Lego Bricks tough they had those in the pool at the Beach Retreat. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  22. Yep just the characters walking around when I did it this time last year. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  23. Agreed. It's not like there's a lack of choice. It's like how the Disney Jr meals at Hollywood and Vine used to have the characters dancing, but apparently that was stopped because people complained. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  24. Kind of irritated at myself for not trying this sooner. I am kind of curious about something though, I have heard maybe wrongly that it's not a great environment for children with sensory issues. Now obviously I wouldn't complain about this, however I'm just curious if any one has had any experience of taking children with sensory issues here. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  25. Hoping this isn't true haven't made it over there yet. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
