  1. Someone just shared this on facebook. https://wdwnt.com/2018/05/no-more-ketchup-whispering-canyon-cafe-at-disneys-wilderness-lodge-no-longer-partaking-in-shenanigans/ Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  2. Think I might skip my passes this year and get them again in 2019. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. Hoping to get over there sometime this month to check out the new Star Wars displays before our passes expire. Don't think we will renew then this year. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  4. The uploading photos for the passes must be a new thing, good idea though when we git ours last year the line for passes was really long. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  5. The cost of a regular one-day ticket with less than great FP selections, how likely is it that next they will announce good FPs for more than a regular ticket. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  6. Hotel looks cool, I've only done the beach retreat here. Although the hotel looks very similar to the one at Legoland Windsor(England), only we had the pirate room there. I wondered if you had gone for the premium room, my view when I did Windsor was that its expesenive anyway, may as well pay the bit extra for the full experience. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  7. They do Pumpkin Pie Spiced ones in the Fall. Those were good. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  8. Looks like you had a good time, I haven't done Chef Mickey's for about 4 years, seem to remember it felt a little rushed. Maybe I should try it again. Interested to see what you thought of Legoland, I have APs there and I still walk round thinking "It's not Disney", which is both a positive and a negative. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  9. I have the app, haven't used it though. Will probably just go inside and ask about it when I check in at the Fort. I'm still debating whether to cancel the golf cart I have booked or not. Less keen now I'm considering the occasional Minnie Van, seems a waste of money to leave a golf cart sitting at my site while I Minnie Van out in the morning and then have it be in the wrong location on the way back. 10. Glad to see this I have a 8.10 reservation for Breakfast in Epcot for my next trip in July and am seriously considering getting a Minnie Van there. Good time hear that they took you to your cabin, pressuring camp sites are the same. How was the Lyft app to use did you have to go to the front desk to get it activated? 11. Liking the photos of the America Tail area, the two times I've been we've never made it over that way. What happens when you try to do two parks in one day I guess. This is making think we'd take more time next time and consider passes. Food at the resort restaurants looks good as well, I haven't manged to eat anywhere other than quick service in the parks when we did Universal, again there definitely something to be said for having more time. Although I did like the quick service restaurants in the parks there, I'm just overly fussy with restaurants that claim to have 'English' food.
  12. Well they try Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. The potatoes look the same as I had in the three broomsticks at lunchtime in January. Does the Leaky Cauldron promote itself as having 'English food' as much as the three broomstick? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  14. Reading over this is making me glad I've just booked the Fort for the kids spring break next year. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  15. http://www.fortfiends.net/index.php?/topic/19523-Events-Announced-For-20th-Anniversary-Of-Disney’s-Animal-Kingdom-–-Scrooge-McDuck,-Launchpad-In-Dino-Party Sufficient to say I could probably find enough reasons for extra trips if/when I got an AP. But it's not exactly savings me on those trips if I wouldn't have done them in the first place. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  16. Nope the Florida resident tickets are good for 6 months. For the past two years at least they've done a discounted Florida resident ticket called the discovery ticket which has to be used by June, we got this last March and used it for the March trip and a day in May. Oh I know if we had APs, I'd want to do a trip before May 12th to see Talking Mickey, a trip for the ducktales special stuff at AK etc.
  17. I kind of wish we went often enough to justify APs, as I would love the feeling of not wasting a day. It's how we do legoland and a number of other attractions. However it's a lot of money and we don't quite go enough, also a lot of the time we are taking visitors from out of state/country which means we'd be looking at platinum passes. We do pretty well stringing out the four day Florida resident tickets over 6 months, add the occasional discovery ticket and it's even cheaper. Last year we did a day at Epcot just before Thanksgiving and the other 3 over New Years when friends visited.
  18. I'm in, did both Universal parks in a day the last time we were in Orlando. Of the 8 of us in the group, 4 were either too short it too scared to do the roller coasters which is most of the HP stuff, interested to see what you thought. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  19. One of these was donated to my kids school and they were raffling it off back in February at the sweetheart dance. Not surprisingly they made a lot of money selling raffle tickets. I heard the person who won it bought $40/of tickets. Unfortunately it wasn't me. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  20. Prices of suites certainly look good about half what one at Cabana Bay goes for . Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  21. But then you'd have to collect them at the front desk anyway...
  22. First time I saw illuminations was last New Years Eve, very crowded and wasn't that impressed. Having had a very good view of the MK fireworks the day before may have affected my opinion slightly. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  23. On the whole I'm looking forward to trying this new menu. My daughter wasn't overtly keen on the chicken last time but does really like the ribs from HDDR, so I can see one of the chicken and rib combos in our future. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  24. I've seen a rumor going around the UK Disney FB groups that this won't apply to non US residents until 2020, anyone know if there is any truth to this?
