  1. It's a 472 feet walk from the Comfort Station to the bus stop. I was in 1300 this past November and I didn't hear the bus, but we also had our A/C on and we camp in a Hybrid also. We stayed in 1306, nice site. Best Regards, Norm
  2. I do like mine too, it is one of my favorite items from there, but I thought that was a given. LOL
  3. I still have my first set of ears from 1972 on a shelf in my bedroom, but I have a Mickey watch that I wear every day. Best Regards, Norm
  4. I think they are going to be Full tiered, and they're probably the easiest and quickest to convert since the wiring and water are already there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I know 1300 has a small playground at the front of the loop which will help occupy them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. First thing I bought for our pop up when we bought it and I gave it to my brother when he bought our pop up. I wish they made a double axle one, so much easier than the boards and levelers and no guessing. Also, if you buy a pizza carrying bag they fit right in there for storage. Best Regards, Norm
  7. No, but you can consolidate all your cards on to one card up to a $1000 each card on disneygiftcard.com Very simple to do, and you have one or two cards, not 30. Best Regards, Norm
  8. Is there a fuel shut off on those? I don't have a generator, but on my motorcycle, I just run it with the fuel shut off turned OFF til it stalls to make sure there is no fuel left in carb to gum it up. I've been doing it that way for 10 years and no problem. I have used Stabil in the past and that is when I had problems. Best Regards, Norm
  9. We have a butter crock that we have on our counter. It's always soft. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yes, that discussion is over here. http://www.fortfiends.net/topic/17174-resort-fees-surveys-being-conducted/#comment-480226 Best Regards, Norm
  11. That's a very good point, at least offsite have loyalty programs to earn more stays, we know how that Disney loyalty program is going, more fees. LOL Best Regards, Norm
  12. When we go to Disney we go every 3-4 years and we want to spend our time in the parks. We don't eat at the camper, we just use it as a place to sleep basically. We have snacks etc but we eat all our meals out. This past year we sort of lost out because one of our girls was sick for a day and she didn't eat, but other than that... I have thought about going out of pocket for meals our next trip but I'll do that math when the time comes. Best Regards, Norm
  13. Bottled water is high and they aren't even 12oz bottles. We got stuck having to buy a case when my daughter got sick and we ran out, I still kick myself. So, make sure you have enough. Best Regards, Norm
  14. Why do they bother with surveys, just say you're going to start doing it and be done with it. We all know they are going to do it anyway. Best Regards, Norm
  15. Here is where I saw it back in December. http://yourfirstvisit.net/2015/12/16/the-refurbed-cabins-at-disneys-fort-wilderness-resort/ Best Regards, Norm
  16. I saw something about that a few months ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. That's kind of cool, would be a good idea for the girl's room when they get older, not babyish, but still something they like. Best Regards, Norm
  18. My girls have been traveling and camping since they were all born, so they are used to car rides and can entertain themselves on long drives. We do a lot of weekend trips but no more than 3-4 hours each way, just so I am home at a decent time on Sundays. We travel to Hatteras every summer and they go to Myrtle Beach every summer with my wife as well and they are fine. My mother on the other hand is getting to be a handful. LOL Best Regards, Norm
  19. When they first merged, they changed a few Kmart's into a Sears/Kmart hybrid which were pretty nice, but they didn't last long. I think they were called Sears Essentials, or something like that. Best Regards, Norm
  20. Not a fan of the EZ Lube caps. The grease does get pushed out, and it also may ruin the seal, and where does the grease go? All over as you drive down the road. I take mine apart every 10,000 miles and grease them and check for wear. Any trailer specific place can do the bearings and brake adjustment and most are cheaper than a camper related place. Best Regards, Norm
  21. That's why when we go up there this summer, we are arriving on a Wednesday and leaving on a Tuesday. I figured it would help me keep my sanity by being a little less traffic. Best Regards, Norm
