You are doing a good job Marty.

While I have no photos to share, if it wasn't for the WWW my hybrid would, probably, still be needing the new floor.  We are such procrastinators.  So thanks to WWW we won't be scrambling in the heat of July to make it do for our trip then.
I had help from the DH, taking advantage as much as I can.  He needed to be at check-in anyway so he helped with the set up too.  Carol was in camp across the road from us,  Marty and Sarah were in MK and I don't remember where Mo and Nicole had headed off to.  Got set up, DH left and Carol said 'do you want to go looping?'  you betcha, so we did.

Jen, of course Yvonne is a perfect angel, didn't she say so?

Carol took me looping my first night at the fort for WWW.  We saw a golf cart get stopped by a fort ranger and the baby or young child was moved from the driver's lap to the other person's lap up front.    Saw something else that pleased me but CRS is working for me and access is not working..

I got so engrossed in your TR that I neglected to let AuburnJen know we were at the I-75 exit. So we took a scenic route to WWW.
Oh and too am getting healthy this year. Eating healthy, drinking lots of water, and exercising. I can't believe how much more energetic I have been not to mention the pounds that have come off.

Oh, they could take care of phantom campers. Just make a simple rule that the site must be "occupied" every night of your reservations. Unused sites will be forfeited (and rented to last-minute guests), MagicBands will be revoked, and FastPass+ selection on those bands would be lost. Security drives around at midnight and notes empty sites, bang-zoom, Disney gets to double-sell the site and word spreads REAL QUICK that the backdoor is closed! At the very least the phantoms would have to check-in and go set up a tent to appear to be occupied. And if they did then other campers who wanted those sites will at least see that they were actually booked to someone, not just sitting empty. It could even make for a fun game for fiends: taking note of which sites are phantoms and maybe moving the tents from one site to another, perhaps with a heart-felt message inside expressing how much we appreciate them booking the Fort. LOL

I'll be riding down with Jen. The plan is for me to leave right after work on Thursday (crossing fingers parents pick up their children early) then drive to her place to stay the night. She says we can then leave at O dark thirty Friday morning.

I'm getting closer! I'm at Anastasia tonite, then driving to Orlando tomorrow. Have to stop in the Orlando office to let my computer hook up to the work network and resolve some issues. (It misses it's momma). Then a run for more soda and Peach Schnapps, then I check into the Fort!
I promise, no work after about 10am on Thursday!!

Yes I winged it and swapped out the 1/4 cup water for kahlua. I'm sure at least some alcohol baked out.  I haven't made boozy brownies in a while and I didn't want to oversaturate them so that they didn't cook. Many many moons ago, friends and I baked brownies for our friend in the Army and overdid it a bit.  He said he could smell the alcohol before he opened the box.
These seem to have baked up fine.

It's in writing so it HAS to be true!!!

We usually don't make it to the Food & Wine Festival until the last few weeks and generally all the really cool stuff is gone by then - and already up for sale on eBay.
When they first released the Dooney & Bourke Haunted Mansion purses, they were gone in a flash - and immediately turned up on eBay.  And because Disney had them backordered for ages, that was only place you could find them for quite a while - for double the price+.
This may put a big crimp in some eBay sellers "business models" - which I'm very ok with when it means that everybody gets a shot at buying them at regular retail cost.

    Here is the snopes article:
    http://www.snopes.com/hud-tiny-homes-ban/

    This is the last paragraph:
" In short, while a number of confused commenters flooded HUD's proposal page based on inaccurate rumors, the proposed rules were seen as a net positive by tiny home experts, RV enthusiasts, RV trade groups, and anyone deeply involved with full-time RVing or tiny house living. A handful of blogs broadly misinterpreted the proposed rule changes as HUD "outlawing" tiny homes, despite the fact HUD doesn't possess the authority to pass such laws. The proposed rule rumored to be a "tiny house ban" was in fact simply a clarification of classifications for RVs and similar dwellings and in no way banned or criminalized tiny home ownership or building. While we were going thru the Epcot toll booth yesterday, an 18 wheeler pulling a fully loaded car hauler pulled up to the toll booth, went through and then took the turn to leave the parking lot.  The parking CM probably wanted to charge him $20 for every car on the trailer.  Because, with Disney, there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

When MGM first opened We use to watch the fireworks from outside the park.  No crowds then and easy to beat them to the car.

DH says they were at Thunder Mountain as show pieces when he was working on maintenance control systems and Thunder Mountain was their test site.  The reason they are where they are now is. "I have no idea"  direct from the person who wrote the system to control maintenance of the rides.  They were never on the TM track and were not part of FW RR either.
Side note, DH was one of the first people to ride TM when WDW started testing it, right after the sand bags.
But the mystery of why they are where they are is still....a mystery

The cabins are actually mobile homes so all they need to do is attach axles to them, a tongue, and tow them off.

AHA! That explains the new Golf Cart Only Express lanes I heard were being installed up and down Main Street at the MK.  Can anyone on the scene confirm that?
Now they just need to designate every other Monorail as Golf Cart accessible and we'll truly be entering a new age of convenience...

    Ohhh, a good rumor.

Well I heard from a friend that heard from a cousin of someone that works at McDonalds where a CM eats, that they are going to build pontoon bridges from the Fort to the Contemporary so you can drive a golf cart to the MK!  And gas is going down to 25 cents a gallon next week...
