  1. I didn’t drive the dually for a month or more sometimes so the motorhome sitting isn’t much different. I usually do a pre-trip inspection just for piece of mind such as checking belts, hoses, etc. My theory of thinking is that if something mechanical wasn’t broke when I got home from the previous trip it usually break when sitting.
  2. We switched from a fifth wheel to a class A almost three years ago. For us it has been great and glad we did. I needed the dually capacity only for the fifth wheel so I was able to get a half ton to tow. Much easier to park in some of the small towns we visit. We can also bring our golf cart with us to the Fort in the back of the truck now. The motorhome has a lot of space underneath so we can carry more camping “stuff” 🙂.
  3. I came across this article earlier. It looks like possibly a support building with loading docks behind the 700 loop. https://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/news/2019/02/05/heres-the-work-disney-is-doing-at-former-river.html#g/448509/2
  4. We always stay at Ocala Sun RV Resort in Ocala on our way down. It’s about an hour and fifteen minutes from the Fort. The overnight spots we have always stayed in were pull through level grass spots. They were adding on to the resort last October when we stayed there so things may have changed.
  5. You can see quite a few dinosaur tracks at Dinosaur Valley state park as long as the river isn’t up to high. Lots of hiking trails as well. The R.V. spaces at the park can be pretty tight with a larger rig so good call on staying offsite. Be sure to check out Pie Peddlers in downtown Glenn Rose if you like pie. Have fun! 6. I’m in! We were there mid-March on the Wonder and I have almost that same picture from our verandah. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The trail is still open as of this past Friday. The trees right next to the train tracks have been left in place. You can still see the construction through the trees that have been left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Awesome, I'm in too! Sounds like someone messed up bad with the site assignments. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. All caught up and glad to see Rocky even if he does wake up before dawn. The food truck must really consume some power. Very well said. My son is 12 and that's not something I try to think about right now but I know it's coming someday. I was thinking the same thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Awesome! I'm in! Looks like things are off to a good start. The Jedi Elsa is new to me as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I had to go back to get some more parts for the project I'm working on and they had the display finished. The display has everything in stock that's shown on the website above. My awning will now have Mickey head lights. [emoji3] The color changing ones are also $10 more than the regular. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I was thinking about the "neon" Mickey which is illuminated by LEDs and is 2.6 feet tall. It's $80, so that's why I'm only thinking about it right now. [emoji846] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I stopped by Lowe's today and noticed they were setting up the Christmas decorations. Here's what caught my eye: Guess Disney saw all of the homemade lamps around the Fort and thought they might be able to make some money. The sign by all of the Disney related items said exclusively at Lowes. This could be a good alternative if you wanted a Mickey lamp but didn't have the time to make your own.
