Permanent or portable dish?  Permanent is really going to be hit or miss on most loops as it all depends on where you have it on your rig.
With a portable dish and a little patience you can usually find a hole in the trees in most loops. I've seen portable dishes used all over.

Then why has it stayed full in past years, especially on weekends? Did you ever think maybe they plan ahead. The FORT is a destination not a weekend campground.

I know we.missed some since they are well hidden and vegetation does appear to be part of the placement.
So far 42 poles, some wired some not. Also I don't think they are done with poles. Didn't find any in 100 or 1700. I am wondering if they will also utilize CS roofs, but of course that would be a logical decision.

Whenever I talked to the communications people( working on a cable or internet problem) they said when they found the best way to cover the FORT it would go in. Haven't counted poles. Maybe this weekend.

Antennas are being installed and wired. They are different from most, antennas on top and bottom.

Hate to bust the "Conspiracy Bubble" about reservations and sites being held, but "POP".
Went looping yesterday afternoon about 3 ish.  11 empty in 200, now 1, 16 empty in 300, now 2, numerous empty in the remainder of the Full, Pref and Prem. Tonight not even a dozen empty total.  1500 has 2 empty sites and 2000 has 26. about a 1/3, which yesterday afternoon after the scouts, left was only about a 1/3 full. As soon as they empty out they fill up.
Apparently you have to book early and if you can't make it cancel.  This place "FILLS UP".

I hope they ban ALL carts at the fort. Go back to a nice bike ride or walk.

Is it a "true" GC or a GEM/NEV/Gator type vehicle? The flyer specifically states that a GEM/NEV can't be parked in the cart lots and Gator/Utility vehicles are not allowed at all. whether gas or elec,

We've had all the cooking essentials including spices oil, and nonperishable food in every RV we've ever owned. Only removed the food when we winterized. Even had most of our clothes in there over the last 10-15 years.

Turn over all the ressies to Jason, let him do the work.  Doesn't cost you penny more.

This all sounds good if it's minor or routine maintenance, but if it's elec upgrade, water line repair, road repair, pad repair etc that is usually an outside contractor. If so, then they are given a window in which to get the work done, not a specific date to start the job.

They are used by the groups who camp together in the winter and also paying guests have claimed them for large parties such as what TCD has posted. i've seen food etc being hauled in on GC's, it's not always outsiders.

Now we know why there is construction at the check in Kiosks, they had to raise the roof.   :)
