  1. I opted for the portable version since I wanted to use it in all my vehicles. Worked great in the MH and truck on recent trips to Jetty Park. It's real nice on the 417 and 528 not having to go through the toll booths. Even though I hate toll roads, I was looking for the easiest way to manage them.
  2. I wouldn't mind them so much if they ate mosquitos. They've been real bad here this year too. Sad thing is, I don't think anyone knows what Love Bugs eat except auto paint, and nothing eats them.
  3. Didn't the little fellow on the pedal tractor have a "Mickey" hat on?
  4. Look for the wire stands almost anywhere along public right of way and busy intersections . Grab and go. Not illegal in Fla, but don't know about where you are.
  5. I corrected my original post. The town where the flywheelers show is held is Ft. Meade which is about 30 miles south of Lakeland. I guess CRS is finally catching up with me. I've done so many shows over the last 20 years that sometimes I get them mixed up in my feeble mind. Sorry for the mistake.
  6. They've been horrible the last two weeks along I-4 between Tampa and Orlando. Sure be glad when they're gone.:argh:
  7. Don't feel bad, I've had a great deal of trouble with Photobucket lately also. Every time I try to do a multiple picture transfer, it will load part of them and then freeze. Hope you get it worked out as I'm really enjoying this TR.
  8. Very cool TR and the pics are great. Thanks for sharing. We have something similar down here in Ft. Meade which is about 30 miles south of Lakeland. It is the Flywheelers convention that takes place each January. Really neat show. Google "Florida Flywheelers" and you should find it.
  9. Thank you Jason. I join Ed and Judy in saying "well said".
  10. If this was suggested for me, then I'm out. I don't haul donuts for anyone nor do I fish for information I am a highly skilled professional and will conduct myself in the stealthiest manner. I might even be standing next to you and you won't even know it. That is the Ninja way. I might even consider letting loose a flock of these :purpleflam: :purpleflam: :purpleflam: as a subtle diversion while I go about my stealthy mission. May be me, may not. If you see bright flashes of light and smoke, it might be Disney or it might not. Heh heh heh ( in my spookiest voice). We men of the dark
  11. All I need to do is start singing and he'll break like a cheap chinese toy.
  12. I can handle the "Fort Fiends Reconstruction" covert security to make sure no one gets in the way. I agree with bringing back the peacocks. I hear they taste like chicken. :fork:
  13. This is all well and good, but you have no right to call one of Steve's customers and question them about serial numbers or anything else. Since Steve apparently left your company and chooses to rent carts on his own, it's basically none of your business what the relationship is between him and his customer. However, if the reservation and committment for the cart in question was placed through Steve while he represented your company, then you do have a dog in this fight. This still does not give you the right to question the customer though. Your conversations should have been directed to St
  14. Steve did give you a receipt, right? If so, don't worry about anything. If this other place calls again, don't tell them anything. Your business is with Steve, not some other party you haven't contracted with. As far as the serial number on the cart, I would have told them to go pound sand. "I'm on vacation and I'm not going out and getting the number for you. If you have any questions you need to contact the person I rented from." It's not right for you to be caught in the middle of someone's business argument so don't stand for it. You paid your money so tell anyone else to "peese" off and
  15. Wow!. That stateroom is bigger than most New York apartments. Enjoying the TR. Keep it coming.
  16. I think bringing your own is the way to go. I don't think I would want my son (when he needed a life jacket) to wear something that God knows how many other people have worn. I would also wonder about how Disney sanitizes them at the end of the day.
  17. I check mine regularly as that is one of the prime areas for leaks.
  18. I won't swear to this, but it seems there was a post concerning this just a short while back and it was stated that no personal watercraft are allowed at the WDW. I'm sure someone with more knowledge of this will chime in to either support this or correct me.
  19. I'm liking the TR Stefa. Really nice castle shots. I too am interested in what camera you're using. I also appreciate your nostalgia for Tom Sawyer's Island. Much to other's amazement, it was always one of my favorite places also. Must be all the Mark Twain I read as a young fellow. Either that or the joy I experienced when my son and I played games in the cave by chasing or surprising each other.
  20. Cool TR. Neat also that Hilda is in the site I had on my last trip to the Fort. As mentioned before, the pics are great. It's always wonderful to see the Fort through someone elses eyes. Thanks. As for your path to the lake, that used to be one of my favorite areas also. Always had it to myself as you did. Looking forward to the next installment.
  21. Thanks Lou. Another small detail at WDW that I've never paid much attention to. Now I know to look a bit closer.
  22. In Florida, it's COKE!!! The only reason Fla. looks like a poorly made quilt is because of all them damn immigrant Yankees. Come down and never leave. Dang!:raspberry2: :thtray:
  23. Congrats on the new camper. If it's going to be Oct. before your maiden voyage, I recommend you camp out in it as much as you can at home to make sure all the systems work properly. That way if something needs correcting you can get the dealer to take care of it before you go so you can have a stress free first trip. Enjoy. Also since this is your first unit, ask any and all questions about it here. There are enough experienced RV'ers on this site that we can help with most or all of your questions.
