Call me girlie man but I think that was awesome.
    They met at Disney.
They both love Disney. ( I know a few people on this board like that)
He gave her the proposal she wanted. At Disney with her family and friends there.
What clever way of presenting the ring.
The MB decorations were a bit over the top. Unless your asking someone to marry you at Disneyworld and using it as a ring box.
Mo. Don't agree with those two fuddy-duddies. I bet they do sweet romantic things for Gail and INC. Like taking them out on special dates. This weekend or maybe Monday.

Ok here's a little tip to keep costs down...
You have to eat and drink beer whether your at disneyworld or not. Right?
Let's say a trip to Disney for a family of 4 for 4 days at a value resort off season costs approx $2500 (room, ticket, and food).
The way DW and I figure it is that we would eat if we were at home so we deduct the food and drink cost of approx $200/ day. Or a savings of $800.
    That's a savings of almost 30%.
    Best the Undercover Tourist!
We call it doing Disney on a budget. Lol.

    Are you kidding me?
Where the heck I'm I going to able to dive for coins if they fill in the moat?
I need the extra money to pay for all these price increases.

Great pix. Thanks for reminding me to bring my own beer. And for newbies that don't have a way of getting to a store. There are companies that will deliver beer to you.
Also. The funny looking golf cart is a Gem car. It's a subsidiary of Polaris. Several people have them up at the lake. It's basically a glorified golf cart.

Actually that's not where I got the name from, it's work related.
Buses are referred to based on whatever bus hub they're operating from.
If you're working out of DHS, you're a Studiosbus, if you're working out of Epcot, you're an Epcotbus, and if you're working out of the MK, wait for it,........... you're a Magicbus. The other hub names didn't sound as good as Magibus, and as I liked driving out of the MK, it was Magicbus.

And while I have your attention Ramon, I'd like to respond to something you said in a previous post.

"Next time your in the MK look into the eyes of those little ones that are seeing Main Street USA and Cindys castle for the first time and tell me you don't see the magic in their eyes".

There is no need for me to go into a park to witness that, and I'm assuming that the other drivers have experienced the same thing, but I have seen that same look in hundreds of kids eyes over the years as they get on the bus.

They'll look up at me, pause, and look at me as if I'm something special, not just schmuck face bus driver.
Sometimes, I'll get a little wave from the real little ones as they pass by in their parents arms. Or every once in a while, after the ride is over, one will ask for a hug. And even though you all know I don't hug, I do.

There are 2 incidents that really stand out though. The first was when a little boy ran up to me, he was very excited. He opened up his hands and showed me a little toy Disney bus that he had just gotten. His mom told me that he just had to show it to me, wow.
And the other was when another little boy handed me a home made card when we arrived at the park which read, thanks for making my visit magical. Whoa, another big wow.
These types of incidents caught me off guard when I first started, and I remember telling my wife about them when they occurred.

My time as a WDW bus driver is probably drawing to a close in the not too distant future. It's become a job now, and after six years, it's getting kinda old. I'm going through the motions, but one of the things that keeps me going are those types of incidents, which btw, and I'm glad to say, still happen on occasion.

So yes, I do know what the magic is, and where to find it.

If I may interject. No I don't feel safer at the other excellent, and in ALL cases, inferior Florida parks. Disney seems to promote a more family, less party, atmosphere then other parks. We did Universal for New Years several years ago it seemed like ever drunk in Orlando was there. Yes there are drunks at Disney also. But nothing compared to universal.
I believe you yourself once commented on the fact that a lot of Disney security is behind the scenes and not necessarily seen by the public, but you can definetly tell the security is tighter at Disney then other parks.
And if you think they are superior because they may have a bigger or faster roller coaster your sadly mistaken. A single attraction, even Harry Potter, or high speed roller coaster doesn't compare to Disney in its superior theming, characters, service, and most importantly the memories we all have from are childhood movies and shows.
My DD's look on her face the first time she say Cindy's castle or when she met Belle for the first time is priceless. Yes she got excited when she saw Shamu but nothing like when she sees Mickey.
Next time your in the MK look into the eyes of those little ones that are seeing Main Street USA and Cindys castle for the first time and tell me you don't see the magic in their eyes. Schmuckface. (The schmuckface was for Judy, she's to nice to call you by your pet name)

    Dear rei dos ônibus,
Maybe I didn't explain my opinion properly. Let me try again.
When we've stayed at PO we've gotten on a bus and then it went to the next PO bus stop and picked up more guests, etc.
    This does two things,
    1. It keeps guest from having to walk great distances to catch a bus.
    2. It keeps the crowds down at any one bus stop.
The buses could pick up guests at DVC and then drive to the Outpost to pick up more guests then off to a park or DTD? And at busy times, ie openings, and after fireworks they could send a bus to each bus stop. The combined number of people could be half that of PO and that's a lot of people waiting for a bus at the same stop. (I guess they could have the FP+ system for buses. Lol).
This could possibly reduce the number or frequency of internal buses.
Thank you for humbling yourself for us little people. .

I've got a 2004 Yukon XL with 5.3 L V-8 that will pull that pup and it has the tow package. So if you ever wanted to buy a bigger TT.It will haul all the waffle batter you'll need for a GG. If me and my family don't go. We would eat you out of house and home and waffles. Lol!

Great story and congrats on doing the Dopey challenge. I did know part of your story but not all of it. Thanks for sharing.
Even though you and I have debated on political issues and a few of them have been heated I've always had a great respect for your accomplishment and encouraged by you. I owe you a big thank you. Because of you and your recommendation of the "couch to 5k" program I'm on my fourth day of the program. I to am a disabled vet and because of a back and leg injury my good friend, he's a personal trainer, has modified the program to a 12 week program along with a lite strength building regiment to strengthen the muscles in my back and abs to support my injured back. My first day I was able to cover 1.25 miles in 30 minutes and today (4th day) I covered 1.75 in 30 minutes. To most people that probably doesn't sound like a big difference but I know you can appreciate it.
So to you sir I say Thank You! Thank you! Thank you!
