DW just reminded me of a funny story about snails. About 5 years ago, when DD was 4. We were out to dinner and order an appetizer of escargot. DD would not try them so FIL, after a few drinks, offered her a dollar to try one. She said I wouldn't eat one for $20. So FIL pulled out a $100 bill and asked if should eat one for $100? She grabbed the $100 with one hand and a snail with the other. She shallower it and put the money in her pocket. We all laughed and I told her to give it back that it was a joke. And she said that papa said that he never jokes about money.
So he was out a $100 and she got a few new toys.
He's never tried to bribe her since.

As you can see I was caught by the Fuss and they transported my to the prison at Fort Wilderness and placed me under House arrest and are making me wear a ankle bracelet to keep track of me.

I've escaped my cage they keep me in, you can see it in the background and now I'm planning my escape.

I hope and pray that Shawnee, Kimberly, and little Colby will all get to enjoy Disney as much as they can. I just wish they wouldn't have made such drastic changes and just trained the CMs who hand out GACs a little better. Since I am a disabled vet with mobility issues I received my first GAC about three trips ago, I didn't even know what a GAC was before. I've waited in the alternative entrances, I've been allowed to go thru the fast pass queues. And from my personal experience the VAST majority of people I see using a GAC are truly legitimate GAC holders. Yes I've seen the kid with a broken arm getting on a ride with 5 of her friends, but if I see 1 person abusing the system I see dozens of people benefiting from it.
I'm sorry your having to worry about this with all the other, more important things you deal with on a daily basis. But knowing your spirit this little bump in the road isn't going to slow you or your family one bit.
I pray that God sends some CMs who "get it" and your kids have a magical trip.

I know there's abuse in the system. I've seen it myself. But is there enough to justify spending all this time and effort to stop a few idiots? Just train the CMs who give out the passes to ask a few extra questions and tell the people who don't need a GAC sorry. And give those who could use the extra help a GAC about the size of a fast pass and save a ton of money.
