Awesome TR. Thanks for sharing.....slip,slip,slipping Your experience made me think. It's funny how my packing list has evolved over time. When younger, I needed a change of clothes, some simple toiletries, and my Amex. I could go anywhere. Now, the first two things I pack are dayquil and night time theraflu. I've learned that being sick on vacation is not about getting well, it's about masking the symptoms enough to still enjoy the vacation.

I only use my water heater on gas. What am I missing? Does electric heat quicker? -

Non-pet loops becoming pet loops
caveat lector replied to DisneyVampire's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
We checked in on 12/22/16. There was a trainee cm working check-in. We signed the release and paid the fee. Your mileage may vary. Opinion to follow so stop reading now. If you have a pet, you should be in a pet friendly loop. Period. Otherwise, we are relying on the cm s at the front gate to determine if you are an honest person that will never allow your pet to exit the rv. That is futile. As with anything, the majority are honest, but the jack wagon weasely lowlifes would leverage this nuance to their benefit (and everybody else's detriment). -

I was amazed how many folks had their dogs up around the marina. I thought that was a no no.Sometimes it would be nice to let my pups ride on the cart when I get my GaG, but am a habitual rule follower. -

I hope to be making the same jump during the next year. I figure other folks have done, so I can too (philosophy doesn't apply to brain surgery or nuclear engineering). Side note: someone took out the post on 1610 overnight. Wonder how big the rig was? -

Enjoyed the movie. Saw it yesterday at Disney springs. The names and all the different planets were a bit confusing. Effects were great and I like the appearances by all the original characters. -

Hows Christmas at the Fort?
caveat lector replied to rtguy007's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
The 1600 loop seems to have a lot of decorations. Looping last night, I was surprised to see a smattering of open pads on the 1800, 800, and 1700 loops. Maybe it's just a timing thing. I was the only one checking in at around noon on Thursday. Part of the beauty of the Fort is that it never seems crowded to me. I also haven't seen a lot of bad behavior. Although several folks appear to have missed the rule aboUT having a max of 13 vehicles per lot. -
I'm a newb to the whole podcast thing. Was thinking that it might be nice way to pass the time during a long drive to the Fort. Has anyone come across some entertaining Disneyworld focused podcast?

Wait.....there's a late entry for trip report title " that bougainvillea above the ticket windows seems to always be in bloom:". I dare someone to misinpret that one. I liked countdown to extinction. That was a very creative and descriptive namemail. That is a beautiful shot if the AK Christmas tree. I don't why, but the Epcot tree is my favorite, but family photos in front of Christmas trees is always best at AK. There was no mention of bonus material, so I will assume TCD is taking a well deserved break from trip reporting. Merry Christmas good sir, and thanks again for enter
