We do on line check in and you can tell them you will be early and if possible they will prepare your site first. have arrived early 11 or so and my site was ready.

I tried to put a small popup on a site with a trailer. Disney made me move one. If you check the 1600 loop there is a popup and a class Aone the same lot and has been there for about a year that I know of. Seems like they enforce the rules anyway they want. BigTom

I don't care for the beach, but love salt water. I love the Florida Keys, no natural beaches, but the water is beautiful. I likefishing and diving in the oceans. Have always lived in Florida.

Don't worry about the empty nest too much. My son left the state, got transferred back, moved back home, got married, and bought the house next door. We can have the grand kids anytime we want.

We had a 1980 chevy 2500, 4 door with a 454 engine. That thing would pull anything you hooked to it if you could afford the gas. About 8 mpg was all it would get and took 40 acres to turn it around.

We were are the fort last Thanksgiving and while crowded, it was not bad. Already made reservations for next Thanksgiving.

I was out of college, married and had a couple of kids at that time. Does that make you feel better?

Just finished a large bowl of hot boiled peanuts. bought at wally world and zapped in microwave,better than I thought they would be.

Those who don't like or haven't tried boiled peanuts, I say don't eat them, leaves more for us who think they are one of the best things you can eat almost as good as dole whips.

If I have my pants on, my knife is in the pocket. Have carried it in all the parks and never been asked about what is in my pockets.

I also like the 2000 loop, have been in it twice, large sites. Usually stay from Sunday til Saturday and the loop in almost empty on those days. We had a large group in 1400 on one site than in 2000. I think they had 5 tents on one site for the week I was there.

Went to the tractor pulls today, still did not see that tractor. If you have never seen tractor pulls, you would be surprised by them. Were pulling ulimited today, like the one in the overflow lot. Full blown big block engines. roll cages, seat belts and all. like a drag race with tractors pulling weights. They pullon dirt and those big spinning tires throw dirt 20-30 fee in the air. something to see if you ever orerated a tractor. Hard one engine blow at the start line while I was there, bet that was expensive.

Looked ove the tractors in the pulling area today,didnot see that tractor, but it could have been there. Tom

That tractor looks like a pulling tractor, they are having tractor pulls at Florida Flywheelers this week. Will look around and see if it is here. Tom

There is another large Banyon tree in Brandenton, don't remember the address. It is down the street from where my Grandparents lived and covers accross the road.
