  1. My DS saved for almost 2 years and paid for us (DS, Mom, Grandmom) to take a Disney Cruise for his 21st birthday. We are supposed to sail August 8th.....
  2. It was a revelation to me - I guess I don't spend a lot of time thinking about the actual size of things I can't see.....
  3. If you walk into a grocery store and can smell the produce, the virus will pass through your mask in either direction.....
  4. Sorry folks, but this is scarier than the transmission of any virus.....
  5. Wouldn't it be ironic if the site sat untouched as long as River Country did?
  6. Right now I am more afraid of the damage the restrictions/closures will do than I am of the actual virus.
  7. Glad that you made it to your destination safely. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
  8. I love Disney, but whatever they have been doing with Star Wars is not the Star Wars for me. Now...if Han Solo is included in that price I might crack open my purse.
  9. We were fortunate enough to be at the Fort to visit the barn one last time.
  10. This type of character interaction is one of my fondest memories from my first trips to WDW. Pluto stood in line behind my mom at our very first Contemporary check-in way back in the 70's. She turned around and must have jumped a foot - we thought it was hysterical.
  11. We have them in some of our schools. They seem to work pretty efficiently not to mention seeming more sanitary.
  12. Love cobbler, but have never tried to make it. Once worked at a dinner theatre where the only night the cast showed up early for dinner was on Sunday night because the chef made homemade cobbler. It was amazing. Calorie count does hurt though....
  13. We us the blue filter recommended, but also use a Brita pitcher for drinking water.
  14. We stayed at the KOA Kissimee about 6 years ago. It was clean, staff was friendly, and we had everything we needed at the site. Not much in the way of privacy or ambiance. I seem to remember feeling like the sites were close together without much shade.
  15. Great video! I almost felt like I was there with you. We have many fond memories of the Legend of the Lion King. My son got to be part of the show when he was 4 and it was one of those "small world" moments for me. When the dancer knelt down beside him and asked him if he wanted to be in the show, she glanced up at me for permission. We both froze because we knew each other - she was the student of one of my dance teacher friends. I knew she was working at Disney, but did not know that she had moved to the Legend of the Lion King show - it was just her second week. It was an almost
  16. We have the Regal Crown Club and I have yet to figure out what it actually offers. Nothing really in the way of discounts.
  17. That is a much better price. Unfortunately, Regal is our local cinema, but I think there is an AMC down I95 at bit. I will check that out. Thanks.
  18. That tour looked amazing, beautiful and scary all at the same time. The scenery is just breathtaking.
  19. The last movie I saw in the theatre was Inside Out. When I was single and all my funds were mine, I went to the movies at least once a week. Now it has become a "luxury" instead of a "treat" for a family of 4. We are very selective and it is usually one parent and one child going. My DH and DS saw The Incredibles 2 in the theatre last summer and we are on the fence about seeing Toy Story 4. We have no real interest in seeing films that have already been re-made - especially if the original was done well. Seems like a waste of money.
  20. Video is very cute. Can't wait to see her shop as a teen. Not sure that horseback riding will be much of a tool for negotiation then.
