  1. We have separate everything for the MH. All we pack are clothes and food. We also have a Coleman Roadtrip grill. We have a half and full griddle that can replace the grill grates and also stove burners that can replace the grates. With the half griddle we can mix and match depending on our needs
  2. According to the Orlando Sentinel Disneyworld opened 44 Years ago today 10/1/71. I didn't make my first trip until my honeymoon in 1981.
  3. We usually only use about half of the fast passes we get. The big ticket ones we use are Soarin', Toy Story Mania and the Safari. This will probably the only time for 7 dwarfs.

  5. Before this I thought I had a handle on the FP system, and up til now I usually got it to work for me pretty well. But now I totally agree with you, I hate the FP system. Well at least we got the 7 dwarfs mine train. Our last trip it broke down just before our fast pass.
  6. Well, I got my FP+ but what a PIA. I had to rearrange our whole schedule to accommodate what was available for FPs.
  7. Cool, thanks I am feeling better now. I was worried since I didn't have a package I was out of luck.
  8. I should know this but...We have annual passes and have reservations at the Fort arriving 11/29/15. I thought since we were staying on site, I could book fast passes 60 days out. When I go into My Disney Experience my reservations show along with the AP's, but I can only go 30 days out for FP+. Is this right?
  9. What about if you just checked out early, will they still refund the unused days? I know that sucks by tying up dates others can use, but it beats losing the whole reservation.
  10. I've never been a fan of the Brazilian tour groups, I have had my run ins with them especially when the kids were small. But I really don't mind the chanting that much. Sounds like they are having a good time. And it is an audio warning to me which part of the park I want to avoid.
  11. I don't know if it mentioned earlier (to lazy to read all the post...most by probably not all), how about Fresh Stone Crab. It's seasonal, but I enjoy it more than Maine lobster.
  12. that's odd, anyone else having that issue? I use FB as my photo storage so if your on a work computer that may block FB then you wont see the photos the part was from amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L9PUAGY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 XYZ marine supplies Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
  13. Unfortunately the only picture I can see is the USB/ DC Voltmeter and it looks interesting What is the make and model of the USB/ DC Volt meter? I need to ad a DC meter and extra USB ports are always useful.
  14. I guess I need to pay better attention to dates. TX is a very long ride. Just the 3 hours from the state line to home just seems to take forever. Glad to hear you went the Houston route.
  15. I live up near Dallas and I take I-20 from Dallas to Jackson MS and south on 49 to Hattiesburg then 98 to Mobile. 98 in Alabama is either 2 lane or 4 lane and through towns. It can be a slow ride. Once you hit Mississippi 49 goes to a nice wide 4 lane. 49 in Mississippi is a little bumpy but not too bad. I-20 from MS to TX isn't too bad, BUT I-20 or any highway through the DFW area leaves a lot to be desired (To be kind). Once you’re through Fort Worth the ride gets better. Taking 10 across to 49 in Louisiana, I don't care for the road, lots of pot holes and actually a longer ride then
  16. What kind of FW did you get? Sometime in the next few years we are thinking about getting rid of the MH and getting a fifth wheel.
  17. Agreed- The willies is a good word for it. When our kids were young, my youngest got head lice from a hat that she tried on. A real PIA to get rid of them dang things. And of course she had/ still has thick long hair. So I stay far far away from trying hats on for fun. Bad enough I try on a few when I'm buying but never for fun.
  18. When we had a German exchange student several years ago, one of the first things we had a misconception about was spicy food. We figured most German food was not spicy at all. Well....she kept up with us Texans on the spicy food front, no problem. I would suggest in the MK, the 3 mountains Space, Splash, and Big Thunder. Then the old tried and true rides, Pirates, HM, Jungle Cruise, and Small World.
  19. Never understood him or really cared to try, but for all the folks that have followed him and all the kids that love him this is sad. I couldn't imagine one of the characters my kids grew up with getting the axe. Budget cuts? Can he get unemployment? What does a has been bear do now?
  20. Our first 2 campers were pop ups, both Starcraft. Liked both of them, but I also liked Jaycos. They always seemed to be well constructed. The only real issue we ever had is that on our second Starcraft I felt the tires/ wheels were undersized for the unit. All this was 20 years ago sorry I don't have current information to share. Good luck on your quest. Some of our best camping was back when we had a pop up. Congratulations on completing the dissertation, not an easy task.
  21. Last trip using my Fitbit I logged between 8.5 and 11.5 miles a day. The higher mileage days were EPCOT days.
