I'm not a fan of changing World Showcase into a generic character area. Each country had unique exhibits, architecture and dining that reflected the country represented. No, there is not much for kids, but it wasn't designed to be that way. 
And, no I haven't been back to the restaurant since.
We have boys, so princess meals are something we avoid anyway, and we prefer our unique meals to be character free. I remember the time, I actually booked a dinner reservation in the Castle. The last I had read, Cinderella only greeted folks downstairs for dinner, no princesses during the meal. In between the time I booked and when we actually dined, they brought the princess into the dinner AND changed the menu and removed their big steak they used to have. We were really disappointed. Fortunately, a waiter came through for my DH and had the chef create a good steak for hubby, and due to a computer glitch with Tables in Wonderland, the meal ended up being free. 
We do occasionally go to character meals, but most of the restaurants that have them, the food is actually secondary.

The last time I ate at the Norway restaurant was right before it converted to a princess meal. It was very unique food in a wonderful setting. I made a point of noting to the manager that I would not return as long as it was a character meal. The manager thanked me for my note. They honestly were not happy to bring in the princesses.

You can call Disney reservations and have them set up a "Travel With" number and request that you be placed as close together as possible. All locations are just request. They never guarantee anything, but will do their best depending on how full the Fort is.
There are many grocery delivery services that provide good service to the cabins and resorts at Disney.

I got the following email from WDW to sign up for seats for these concerts. I was able to get seats for myself and other passholders that I am linked with in my "Friends and Family".
Don't know if we'll actually attend as all of our group is not passholders, but I thought I'd at least give it a try :) I got tickets for the Feb 18th show at 6:45

Here is a picture of when we gave ours to Josephine. She says she's keeping closer watch on the ones that were given to her. What is mostly happening is kids are bending them by stepping on them and pulling...... grrrrr

We just bought ourselves some special edition ones of the new style.... (Us dummies with 10-15 MBs a piece left every single one of them at home). I like the way they rest on my arm. Very comfortable and not as thick and stiff as the original ones.

Which isn't good... but I get why they do it.  Unless a group rents out an entire loop (for example all of 1500), I wish they wouldn't allow it.  Of course, how do you actually prevent it, except to limit the number of people (and tents) per site to a lower number?  I don't know that Disney has ever enforced a per number/site rule.  They may have one, but I don't know that they have every enforced it...which stinks if you happen to be neighbors with a loud group

Sounds like a Fiend Mission is in order. Every Fiend that comes to the Fort needs to give Josie a Purple Hoola Hoop!

I took the liberty of ordering 6 and having them shipped c/o the Millers. They should get delivered tomorrow if all goes well. 
It seemed wrong to me that they weren't there for the kids to learn and play with.
