  1. I thought the new exercise program was for the bus drivers. Disney was going to give you rickshaws to transport all of us on & Disney supplies us with the whips.
  2. The last MH I bought (the one in my signature), was one I found & bought on EBay. It was the exact make, floorplan, & model, I was looking for & it was new. The broker bought it at auction from an RV dealership that had gone bankrupt & their inventory was seized (they had 3 dealerships). I ended up paying a little more than half of its suggested retail price. But it was a gamble. I had to put a $2,000 non-refundable deposit down on it. Then I & a friend, had to drive to Port Huron, Michigan to do an inspection of the unit, hand the broker the cashier's check, & drive t
  3. I am going to have to try it in my counter top soft serve machine. I did not know they had anything like that, that you can order on line & since it is a mix, I don't have to worry about cold storage.
  4. That AC boot is pretty neat. Glad someone came out with one & it sure beat the way I used to rig one.
  5. As far as I know, they won't survive that climate. Also, just in case it does, don't plant one near anything like cars, lawn furniture, etc. The sap that drips from it sticks to everything.
  6. OMG  Give me, give me, give me :rofl2:
  7. I was thinking of having my EVO rooted, but how does that effect things when they do software upgrades. Does it have to be re-rooted?
  8. Fortunately, mine does have a hand brake :-) That is why you should always have your spouse outside when these things occur. So when things go wrong and your significant other starts "I told you so!", you use them as a wedge. :jumpforjoy
  9. The voyeurs and the exhibitionists would both be happy at that campground. :jumpforjoy
  10. I have tried a couple of their plum wines. Not like the milder sweet plum wines served around here. These could peel the paint off your car.
  11. Aren't they currently using it as a temporary break area for CM's ? Instead of demolishing it, they could just move it to my back yard (minus the power equipment).
  12. The rules seem fair enough, even though we are probably the only ones actually reading them. The cart on the sidewalk thing was probably a slip up; however, most of the sidewalks are already posted 'No Golf Carts'.
  13. Set it up before the storm. Put kids inside & do a leak test. :rofl2: That tent is really neat. By my calculations, you can put a queen size matress in each of the rooms. Keep us posted. Can you leave the bottom floor in & fold it up that way?
  14. Yeah, it's gone. If anyone can find it again, post it on the Fiends only page.
  15. X2 Yeah, they could have done away with the back & forth motion, it would not have hurt my feelings.
  16. I'm staying as far away as I can from that site. I am going to request that they install it on your bus for the guest's enjoyment for those quiet times when the official announcements are not going on.
  17. Trim the top of the husk. Put on the grill (gas type), medium heat. Turn about 4 times while cooking. Done when the outer husk is brown & but not too much charing. Those silicone cooking gloves work well to handle them while pulling off the husk. Butter & light sprinkling of Tony Chachere's is our favorite.
  18. Eating at a picnic table at the Fort ? Oh no, is that allowed & do you have to have ressies or pay an upcharge ? :wiz: Seriously, carrying your take out or making a picnic basket & eating at one of the picnic tables is just another one of the perks at the Fort.
  19. When we do our spaghetti sauce in a crock pot, we just fill the pot as much as needed with our favorite spaghetti sauce, then cut up some uncooked Italian sausage & add to the pot & cook on high for the day. After it has simmered all day, the sausage will be very tender, but you will need to skim the greese from the surface of the sauce cooked from the sausage before serving. If you prefer meatballs, the same can be done using those premade ones you can by from the store. Just let them cook/simmer in the sauce.
  20. It's fairly simple. Starting in the morning, put the beef tips in the pot, someimes I will add a large can of cream of mushroom soup, then fill the pot about 3/4 full of water, add salt, pepper, onion (or onion powder) a little garlic powder. Turn on high & let it cook all day. Just before dinner, I remove the meat, thicken the broth using the old flour/water mixture. I usually use a handmixer while I am adding the flour/water mixture to the pot to keep it from clumping. I will taste test it to see if I need to add any more seasonings to it. If the gravy looks a little too light, I may add
