  1. I'm with Doug - Wow, that must be a BEAST! Pics? Oh, and :welcome:
  2. I hear gears turning….and belly's rumbling! :grill: :fiesta-smiley: :SmileyMargarita1:
  3. Resurrecting this thread from the grave as I have seen a lot of relevant posts lately about rude campers. TN22 and I grew up camping and there were always VERY aware of campground etiquette - - Don't walk through another's campsite - Don't go into another's camper without a parent's permission (This was the 70's and 80's) - Don't approach someone's LEASHED pet without permission - Cars and RV's had the right of way - get to the side of the road where you could be seen - Pick up your trash - NIght time was quiet time - ALWAYS RESPECT YOUR ELDERS- if we didn't we usually got spanked by t
  4. I was looking at RVparkreviews.com the other night for this and didn't see much in the way of an easy stopover on 64 unless there is one not well advertised. Saw one in Frankfort, but that may be a bit out of your way?
  5. Nice looking units bit I've been skittish of the lightweight toyhaulers since the tongues and frames on some of the last weekend warriors would bend and warp.
  6. From one who was looking forward to a time when I might be able to stay longer than a week or so this is very sad.
  7. I was hoping that Disney would avoid the "remake" fad that hollyweird is currently shoveling out. Why remake this? Make something NEW! I liked petes dragon as a kid but I'm sure if I watched it now it would be painful.
  8. First of all, Welcome! If you are renting a cart there aren't any bad premium loops. I like the 500 loop but I'm sure you will get some more great veteran fiends chiming in soon.
  9. Bacon Bourbon and Brown Sugar …..my 3 favorite food groups!!! :grill:
  10. MAGIC OF COURSE! Doing a Boston Butt right now…194 degrees…waiting for that last degree before pulling to rest!
  11. In light of the current Hollywood trend to remake EVERYTHING (Annie, The Equalizer, etc etc) I am sincerely glad that Disney seems to at least be striving for new material (live action Beauty and the Beast non-withstanding…) I thought Frozen was cute, but I'm a Dad with sons….so princess movies probably don't have quite the same impact on us….heh he. Of course the occasional dust mote in my eye when "A Whole New World" starts is purely coincidental. The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast are pretty hard to beat, but its great that a new generation of Princesses have Frozen for their fa
  12. Obviously I'm a semi-flexible obeyer! LOL! She's gotten better over the years, ….or perhaps I've gotten more obedient...
  13. Hopefully not hijacking, but while reading thru this thread, I had to chime in to tell all that my wife's nickname is the "DISNEY NAZI" - that is because she meticulously plans each and every moment of our day months and months in advance and woe be to the poor soul to messes up her careful plan (usually me..) I missed the first boat from FW to MK only once…..never again…. :th_2mo5pow: :flush2:
  14. Welcome! Alas - we come down 95 so we won't be any help either. Check out http://rvparkreviews.com and you can see if there are any campgrounds at about your half way point. I know there are some nice one's near Chattanooga, but not so much from there to Atlanta. (I assumed you would be heading down 75). I'm sure there will be a more helpful Fiend chime in soon.
  15. Funny - I bought a new collapsing trash can this past week for the RV….might need a new table too…hmmm
  16. Thanks! We love Cumberland Island - stayed there with the Boy Scouts a couple of times, but I hadn't thought of this as a good "halfway" stop . We usually stay in New Green Acres in Watersboro, SC but might be nice to get a bit farther on day 1 !
