  1. Really enjoying this- growing up the WWD on Sunday nights was the closest I ever got to WDW until my senior year in HS when our band marched at Epcot in 1984. Sadly I was less interested in mickey ears than other anatomy at the time. Next trip was in 1996 with my new family- got to play in river country once..
  2. I had an 07 ram 2500 megacab before it got the dreaded death wobble and traded it for a 13 megacab 3500 dually. I will have to say it is a much smoother and stouter truck. Pin weight in my fiver is 3k and it handles it well.I really want a ford body with a cummins engine, Allison tranny, and Chevy leather seats...is that asking too much? Lol
  3. Funny you mention Halloween. I love to build Halloween props..I don't usually do other crafts unless the Precious Light of my Life, Queen of my Existence decrees it.
  4. Todd, Amazon had solar mason jar lids so you can put glass beads or marbles in them for an easy neat effect.
  5. Just want to say Welcome! I've been a tent camper in the past with the Boy Scouts (former Scoutmaster) but not a glamper- let others chime in. Hoop-Dee-Doo is a Must-do. The campfire and movie is a lot of fun - we usually take our own s'mores but they have kits for sale (at a premium) but make it easy if you are running low on space. Loop/Site requests - faxing or calling as described here always works well for me. http://www.fortfiends.net/_/accomodations/loopsite-requests-r125 :welcome2:
  6. Not to hijack, but if anyone has plans or an idea for a wagon for a Large egg, wife and I are talking about putting our large on the Camper (toy hauler) and buy an XXL for home. I've looked at the Mini-max, but if I can bring my large, I'd rather! I'm going to bring it to Defeated Creek for sure. If this sounds crazy, we usually travel with 3 dutch ovens and a dutch oven table...
  7. We usually pull the towels off every trip and sheets off every other short trip or every long trip. We use totes to store them in so bugs aren't a problem. We have had so much a problem with stink bugs this past year that we didn't leave much over the winter.
  8. For my Son and Daughter in laws wedding the past summer, the rehearsal dinner theme was "rustic" - we had it in a barn with red checked tablecloths and I made Mason Jars with "fireflies" using the thin copper strand wire LED's and batterie packs. I glued the battery packs to the inner lid, so they aren't noticeable and we let each of the bridesmaids and "moms" take one home. My wife liked it so much I had to make one using a solar power strand and a half gallon Mason anniversary jar on our deck. I'll post pics if anyone is interested.
  9. https://db.tt/hanqRJ8h Here is a dropbox link to the lamp I made. Sorry for not posting the pics but I only have my ipad here now. I used led strip instead of a light bulb and added a socket on the bottom so it has an led bulb on the bottom for ambient light. The led light strip has a music mode that will make the led strip change to music. I will try to get a youtube video up if anyone interested.
  10. Doesn't Anna know if you pick up a seashell you can hear the ocean?....or is that a 20 something screaming...? I'm not sure, but the charges were dropped when I tried it. Seriously....much to high a cuteness quotient in this non- Trip trip report. Where is the MISERY?! Not sure I know what a rhino face is....
  11. When I saw the description I was afraid it was a picture of my wife putting her makeup on and watchimg me in getting out of the shower....
  12. What you have (i.e. Class A, TT, 5th wheel): 42' FW If you're towing (so TT or 5th wheel) how heavy is it: 15k If you tow, what is your tow vehicle: Ram 3500 dually 2013 Gas mileage: 10-12 towing 14-17 empty Do you like it, love it or hate it (this applies to both the tow vehicle and what you're towing (or driving if Class A or C):- like it so far What would I change - nothing yet... may move to a newer toyhauler with bath and a half for class A in a few years
  13. I know I would yak if I yetied that much... Great New Years!!!
  14. Boat to MK and usually take the bus, but sometimes drive to AK and Epcot...first time i'd ride the bus.
  15. Dancing Irish girls, Guinness, bread pudding with awesomesauce, yeti mania, tumbling monkeys, Anna and Stella pics, and a thoughtful spouse that packs ponchos...yep I can see why you hate the mouse.....not!
  16. Find out the brand of the loaner tent - bet there is a least one video on youtube on how to set it up. If it is overly complicated, then it may make sense to rent the FW tent.
