  1. Mo, I'm so sorry to hear about Brady. He was such a beauty and I bet he had the best doggie life anyone could hope for.
  2. I'll be honest with you. That crab cake BLT sounds pretty good to me. I don't know if we'll head over to try it next week, but I'm tempted to just for that.
  3. Happy birthday! Let's eat cake (the closest I have now is some banana bread out of my oven)!
  4. You're very sweet. We appreciate the invite. We're looking at getting a small TV for camping also. We will probably get a 24" or 32" for the tent. I told Kenneth that I really would rather not go to a bar or lounge because I'd rather just go to bed when the game is over. I'm not a football fan, but I'll be watching the game since our team is playing. And hopefully there will be some decent commercials. Go Falcons! Maybe we'll run into each other sometime during the week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we can get into the 1700 loop.
  5. We'll be at the event on March 3rd. I'd love to do some of the other ones (we don't have an annual pass this year, so free events work out great for us), but I don't think our work schedules will allow it.
  6. We're in the same boat. When I made the reservations, I had no idea we were arriving on super bowl Sunday. And now, Atlanta is in it (we live in a metro Atlanta suburb), so Kenneth has to watch it! We talked about buying a tv for our tent, but we would only use it a couple times a year. And we also never got a tv for the tent, because we don't want to be tempted to stay in the tent watching tv the whole week. We still have time to decide about the tv and try to figure out the best place to go, to catch the game.
  7. Here's where I saw the $89 price: http://www.insidethemagic.net/2016/12/disney-after-hours-event-returns-to-the-magic-kingdom-at-reduced-ticket-price/
  8. I read somewhere that it's $89 for passholders and DVC members. We don't have an annual pass (but we are DVC), so I'm considering it for feb 9th. We like to be at the Magic Kingdom late and I'm hoping it will really be as empty as people say it is.
  9. I'm here! I'm here! Enjoying every minute of this report and looking forward to seeing Rocky!
  10. Wow! What a trip! I'm glad you had such a great time. We were at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kidani a couple of weeks ago. B would definitely enjoy that resort. I woke up in the mornings, waving at all of the animals that were out (and giggling when kids around us came out and started talking to the animals from their balcony). And that tofu noodle dish at Kona is so good - I wish I was having that for lunch today!
  11. I'm worried about the Hilton Head resort now. We check in next Sunday and we are glued to the Weather Channel right now. It's not sounding too good for them right now.
  12. bhall, I'm so sorry about Sushi. She was a cutie-pie! The bedtime routine is what Buzz likes to do when he first gets in bed. We just back up while he gets it out of his system.
  13. I'm in! Your kids are beautiful! I hope your surgery goes well and you recover quickly.
  14. That headless horseman picture is awesome! So are your costumes! Glad you guys had a great time! Thanks for sharing!
  15. I'm enjoying your report and all of the pictures! Thanks!
  16. Lol, I'm getting there. I just want to be comfortable at night when I sleep, really. :)
  17. Wow! No AC in the summer! Loving your report so far! You have a great looking family. In temperatures like this, is an AC in a PUP really that effective? (I'm asking out of pure curiosity - we don't have anything but a tent and I'm wondering if a PUP would work for us).
  18. I had to share this on Facebook and tag my sisters. I have one that LOVES dole whips and the other one is quite a baker. They need to get together and make this happen. I might even try it if they do!
  19. We kind of feel the same way about Yargo. We have friends that love it there, but I can't spend an hour packing my truck, drive twenty minutes and then spend a couple hours setting up. Just doesn't seem right to me. I might think differently if we had a trailer, but it takes us a long time to set up our tent and everything else at the site. The only campground in Georgia we've tried so far is Fort Mountain state park. It was decent - lots of hiking trails, a pond nearby. But man, those bathrooms are nowhere near as nice as the Fort. In October, we'll be trying Chattahoochee Bend state
  20. She's adorable! This will be a memorable trip for all of them!
  21. Great start to the report! And that Pixar shirt you're wearing is awesome!
  22. I don't know if anyone has posted this here yet, but we bought this print at Wilderness Lodge today. It was $39.99 - we just love the camping theme! They also had this one, that I think is super-adorable!
  23. Gwen - I'm so sorry for your loss. She looks like a very sweet dog - I wish I could have met her. Hugs to your family.
  24. I'm really late to this thread, but I LOVE everything you've done to your camper! It's super-cute! We had friends that had trouble with Camping World also. They were waiting a while to hear back about a camper they were going to buy. They were told they would hear back by a certain day. That day came and went. Tried calling again on a Sunday and CW wasn't even answering the phone. Kenneth and I were in the area, so we pulled in and Kenneth asked the lady up front why they weren't answering phones. She said they must not have switched it over yet. So Kenneth told her they need to do t
