  1. Yes. They take the pictures and give you the link with an access code. Then you can download all of the pictures (over 300) or select your favorites, download those, share them on facebook or get a direct link like I used here. It is really very good. We did the steam train tour a few weeks prior, and while that was excellent, this was much more memorable. The food we got on the Savannah was excellent as well.

  3. As a Christmas gift, our daughter and son in law took us on the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom./ It was excellent. Here are some pictures for those who may be interested: http://www.disneywildafricatrekphotos.com/Share/NzcyY2Y4YWMtMTQ3My00MGMwLTkyZDUtMjE5MzYzNzZkMWY5fDAxMTgxNTEyMzA=
  4. It closed in 2005. They also sold Anne of Green Gables merchandise.
  5. The doors on the right after you go up the steps used to be a store. They sold things like pewter ornaments and other gift shop type things. The little buildings on the left were never open. They are offices if I recall correctly.
  6. My wife works behind MK and has to use that intersection many times, as do I. If we get there around 3PM or so, thankfully there is usually an FHP officer there to direct traffic. Otherwise, the line is long and progress slow. They will pick up a few parking spots where Center Road currently exists as it heads to Reams Road.
  7. The closing of property control and cast connection is to move the cast entrance off of Reams Rd to that area; replacing Center Drive with parking spots. The intersection of Reams Road and Center Drive is always a mess, and too close to a curve in Reams Rd for a traffic light. Relocating it further down will be safer. Last day for property control and Cast Connection is February 20th; and they will be closed around 3 weeks. This has nothing to do with a north entrance.
  8. That is exactly the thinking that pushed us to the Camplite. Apart from the cushions, and of course the electronics, you can literally hose down the camper without damaging the walls, flooring, cabinets, etc. Plus, although they are not as fancy as other trailers, they are very nice and enjoyable. Think of them as good, solid, basic campers. Doug
  9. We have a Camplite 21BHS from LivinLite. We've had it for about a year and a half. It's been excellent. The aluminum construction and no wood really make it a tough trailer. We towed it from Florida to Arizona and Utah in September and it towed great, even in high cross winds and heavy rain. The cabinets have very nice latches on them, similar to those found on airplane access doors, so the doors cannot open during travel. The cabinet frames are actually welded parts of the trailer outer frame and VERY solid. They are easy to tow, and it works great with our Ram 1500. While I use an An
  10. I thought on the page you posted there used to be a means to add amenity requests, under the heading "Amenity Requests". Looks like their changes in the IT workforce are having a great effect.
  11. Shoot for a weekend in mid September if you can; nice and empty (relatively speaking).
  12. The blank cards probably were all pretty much the same with the exception of the effective dates. It could be the data format already on the Magic Bands, and used everywhere else, made it very difficult to read into a more "generic" system.
  13. Wasn't there a way to add an amenity request? There usually is, IIRC.
  14. Usually the Car Masters Weekend is held on Father's Day weekend. We go every year and then have lunch at one of the resorts. Last year, the traffic was bad due to the construction, but we parked at Port Orleans and took a boat. I assume it will be held this year, but who knows at this point.
  15. Did you get the discount recently? I go there every couple of weeks and was told a month or so ago that the AAA discount ended.
  16. I would agree. You can see the start of the TTC in the background.
  17. All around this area, the water level has been much higher than normal since early summer and is still up there. Some of the docks in Clermont, which have been pretty much useless over the last couple of years, now have water right underneath them and boats can now use them.
  18. You can call them to give them a loop request and let them know of any size requirements. Also, when you check in online (closer to the dates of your stay) you enter in camper length/slides/awnings/pets and also any loop requests. You can also fax in a request for a specific site, about a week prior to your arrival. For more info, go to: http://www.fortfiends.net/_/accomodations/loopsite-requests-r125
  19. Wow! I would have loved to have heavy construction equipment to play on when I was a kid!
  20. Take the bus, park at Port Orleans and take the boat, or drive and get there early. Most of all, have patience. Not bad. Do it every time we go to the movies. Got there early last Friday and parked behind Cirque. Not bad at all, even leaving. However, the line backed up to get into the garage in the evening was horrendous.
  21. Absolutely. I certainly wouldn't change from any type of hitch I was happy with. The reviews you mention show that there is an application for the Andersen hitch; light trailers. My trailer is light, so it works well for me. If I had a heavy trailer and needed a good bit of weight distribution; I wouldn't buy it. There would be better choices.
  22. While Disney paid for the buildings, the pavillions are sponsored by corporations or governments (i.e. Morocco). From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morocco_%28Epcot%29 :
