  1. Me too. Mine is so bad that all of my upper teeth hurt when I breathe hard through my nose. 3 days into antibiotics now. Total suckage.
  2. I still have some more pics, but I have been sick as a dog lately.
  3. Cool update! Did you notice that the ferris wheel is moving again on the model city? It was DOA last time that we rode the peoplemover.
  4. While sorting through some pics for my other TR I was thinking about how our kids have been to Disney every year since birth. They think that is just what people do. :rofl3: I also had an idea of doing a TR with a pic of each year. So here goes.... DD5 (Laurel) on her first trip in 2006. She still loves the peoplemover too! Lizzy was still in the oven on that trip. 2007 Lizzy at the Crystal Palace Laurel checking out the show at the castle 2008 Teacups! 2009 Autograph session 2010 Teacups redux 2011 Teacups 3.0 Till next year Edit for 2013 Teacups 4.0
  5. Well at least they are being somewhat productive...if they happen so see some trash. Yep. I do try to get in them when I can. That's pretty cool of you. Ripoff, fo sho! They are good! I wish that I had thought of that. Thanks! Yeah, I like that path too. I liked it better before WL was built, though.
  6. I've never heard of a lifetime warranty on any camper part from any manufacturer. I have seen a 12 year warranty on roof membranes. Note...this does not cover leaks due to improper maintenance of seams and caulking. With any camper water is the enemy. Even if it is "new" I would check it from top to bottom paying special attention to the corners of the roof and floor for soft spots and/or leaks. Not trying to be negative, but it is not uncommon for a trailer to be leaking even when new. If you store it inside you will be a lot better off in the long run. If not, invest in the best cover that y
  7. Alright...time for another update. This one will be a collection of random thoughts and observations with minimal pics. Thanksgiving day was an off day for us. We hung out at the camper till about 10 and then headed over to Floridays Resort to meet up with my wife's family. As I have said before I hate going off site. Although the resort is fairly nice I wouldn't stay there. In fact we could have stayed there for free the entire week, but I felt the savings wasn't worth it. It wouldn't be a Disney vacation if we were not at the Fort or on property. IMO, the Fort looked good (better than our la
  8. My wife's family was also having a reunion of sorts in Orlando this week too. So a few trips to the parks were with those guys. With the wife and kids cruising around with them I could find some time to look for interesting shots of the MK. I have to admit Tomorrowland has always been my favorite part of MK. Even when I was a kid I always wanted to go there first. We stayed and watched Wishes with the relatives. A few had never been to Disney before and were blown away with the whole experience. We also got to see the show projected on the castle just before Wishes. This was a fir
  9. Alright....I am finally home from work. FF.net being blocked at work sure does cut down on my fiend time. I feel like I need 4 hrs to catch up on all of the other great TR's and posts here. Tuesday and Wednesday were pretty much copies of one another. Each day was started off with a trip to MK, we then returned to the Fort, and went back in the evening. I was able to do a lot of looping on my mtn bike and Fort exploring during the afternoons. These pics will be a mix of camera phone and Nikon...I apologize for the crappy phone pics. I really like these palm trees at night. They made me want to
  10. I have some semi pro Nikon gear. I started getting into it when we had kids. One cool thing about my camera body is that it is weather sealed. This allowed me to get some interesting shots on Splash Mtn....including one that is probably my favorite to date. But those will have to wait for a later update ;-)
  11. After some naps, bike looping (I may have run into TCD this day), and food....we were back at HS. First stop...RnRC. I had hoped that our oldest could ride it, but it wasn't to be. She was pretty upset about it. I stopped on the way out for a quick pic We were quickly herded like cattle directly into the middle of the Osborne Lights. I knew it was going to be cool, but I wasn't prepared for how cool. This was absolutely the best light show ever for us. This bike caught my eye I could've stayed in there for hours....
  12. Monday Nov 21st...First full day We decided to hit Hollywood Studios this day. Our modus operandi for the parks is generally get there early (maybe for rope drop), stay to about lunch, cruise back to the camper for lunch, rest, then go back to the same park in the evening. This approach works well for the kids and us old people. We drove over to HS instead of taking the bus. We were running a bit behind so we got there just after rope drop. I really wanted to snag some fast passes for TS. I had remembered TCD's description of the rush to TS each morning. Since we had never rode it I wanted to
  13. Wow! Thanks for all of the comments. I don't have time right now to respond individually to all, but I will try later on. I had a long day at work today. So I am going to work on another update now.
  14. Ok....1 more post before I turn in tonight. Sunday Nov 20th The kids were busting at the seams by the time we reached the gates. Truth be told I was too. The final miles into the Fort are always exciting. We pulled up to the guard shack at the Fort and was greeted by a LOT of others trying to check in also. As luck would have it the traffic guy stopped us for just a minute, and by then lane 1 opened up and we pulled right in. This is where it almost went south for us. We were greeted by a nice lady who informed us that this was her first day on her own without a trainer. She took my debit card
  15. Well, I am not much of a writer, but I will give it my best shot..... To say that this trip was heavily anticipated would be an understatement. As a family we had been looking forward to it since January...when I made the ressies. Personally, I had been preparing for months. I had a lot of little projects on the truck and camper that I wanted to complete before setting out on such a long trip. Thankfully, all of the work, mods, and such worked flawlessly and made for a less stressful experience. I think it was time and money well spent. Nov 18th/19th We had planned on leaving about 3 pm. I ha
  16. Great start for this TR! It was nice meeting you and your family. It seems we ran into you guys all over the Fort. I agree about Chatty. It is not fun to tow through....nor is ATL.
  17. I'm convinced that these were our "mystery" fireworks. There were rockin the Fort during Thanksgiving.
  18. Some pics of the pull thru sites that we were in. It seems that they save these for overnight guests. We were on B8
  19. Yeah I am pulling a 39' 5er. This park seemed easy enough to get into. The sites are big and close to the interstate and dining.
  20. Yeah, it was spur of the moment thing. I was going for Caverns state park, but I got tired and hungry.
