AC in A2......Aaron 693
2-7-13 (evening)We took the monorail to MK. Why? Because it's the fastest way? Nope. Because it is our preferred way. We like to ride around the monorail loop.So we took the monorail to MK, went inside, and picked up SOTMK cards.Next, we headed for Buzz Lightyear:Next up was Storybook Circus and one of the main reasons we were here tonight:The play area was once again closed:Almost there:Our turn:I took that picture and then a CM asked if we wanted a picture together. That was very nice of her to offer:Aboard Dumbo:After Dumbo we walked the long way around to get in line for Storytime with Belle:Mirror room:Wardrobe room:Who is that man behind the mask?More Belle and acting debuts to come.... AC in A2......Aaron 693
Storytime continued:There is the Irish Guard again:DD making her acting debut as the featherduster:Keep marching guards:DD gets her time with Belle:The guards:This attraction is one of the better ones I have ever been to at WDW. The looks on DD's face throughout the whole attraction were priceless. She got a cute look on her face when she first walked up to Belle that was worth every penny spent on this trip by itself.......and the rest of the people in the room gave an "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." It was awesome. It would be hard to top that but after Belle we needed to have another tea party:After tea, we usually feel like racing so "Drivers. Start your Engines!"After the speedway, DD and I went here:While DW and DS went to Buzz again. We met back up by the C.O.P. and headed for the exits. I took a few pics on the way out:Tomorrow we planned to hit Animal Kingdom at rope drop prior to our planned Date Night.

AC in A2......Aaron 693
I have time for a quick update right now. Here are the early morning photos from our balcony before we went to Animal Kingdom:2-8-13I enjoyed watching the boats motor out into the lake from the canal each morning.Shots from near the elevators en route to the bus stop:That will have to hold you until I can get the big AK update done later. I loved hanging out on the balcony for a couple minutes each morning.Awwwww.....why the astro orbiter?DD stated in no uncertain terms that she needed to ride those "rocket thingys way up there", while pointing her wee little finger.Looking forward to AK! I hope you spent hours in the Boneyard. :rofl3:Haven't you heard the Nancy Reagan slogan, "Just say No." It may not have worked for a national drug policy, but it has worked for me as an anti-boneyard and anti-Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area slogan; at least so far. Nicki aka Rebelstand 272
How did she like those "rocket thingys way up there"? Me and ID didn't like them so much....
AC in A2......Aaron 693
She is still talking about them so they made quite an impression. I just remember the line always looks short, but it takes a long time to actually board the ride. There was the line downstairs and then a few groups being held upstairs that we had to wait for prior to boarding. You do get some cool views from up there though. AC in A2......Aaron 693
Okay, time to get the Animal Kingdom update started:We have arrived at AK on the morning of 2-8-13.......we waited 15 minutes for a bus at CR; which was the longest we waited the entire trip. No complaints about the transportation service at all on this trip.We did have one night on the monorail that was busy and we had to wait for the monorail in front of us to move before we could move......but we brought that on ourselves. We know they are not the most efficient, but we like riding them.Anyway, back to our arrival at AK:This was our first trip to AK on this vacation and DS had his sights set on Kilamanjaro Safaris so that is where we headed. Word to the wise......when the gates open and people file in......it seems everyone uses the trail to the right. If you go left, you have much less traffic.....at least that's been our experience this trip and in the past. On the way to KS:And now for all you KS animal lovers.....a plethora of animal pics:Up close and personal:Just like at Sea World, they apparently didn't get the memo that these are supposed to be purple:A butt pic:A family favorite:Do you see it? If you want to be faster, you could tape it to your back.Limit?
