I'm going to whip my iPad out in Gettysburg and block stuff just so everyone feels like they are in Disney :) I may bring Adam's stroller and ram it into people too!

Aaron, remind me when we meet in person someday to whack you over the head with an iPad.

I was going to ask the same question! LOL. Looking forward to Date Night Pood Forn. As much as I agree with you on the Boneyard...Anna says we are both wrong and that the place rocks.

Thank you for all the great FW photos. It really helps a newbie like me out to see where things are. I WILL get there in the next couple years :)

We call it grinders here and pop a squat is potty in the woods.

You're welcome. You will love it when you finally get there!

Okay...I am gonna try to never say pop a squat anymore.

What does that kid have on his head in the pool? It looks like he had a few too many and was wearing his swimming suit on his head like a hat.

I never noticed that. He's probably a free loader and that's part of his disguise to pull the wool over the eyes of the powers that be.

Grinders do require toasting, and the dawn patrol photos are really nice.

I thought so and thanks.

Grinders here are either toasted or not. We're weird here in VT

You may be weird but you make good syrup.

Unless you are Greek and then grinders require a special yogurt type sauce and lots of onions.

Oh wait, those are gyros.

It all the same dance move on the floor.

OPA!!

Awe that's sad about the cushion. Don't feel bad though, accidents happen :). I'm sure Curt is prepared for this kind of thing.

He and Jody were great about it. I still felt like a jack-wagon though.

Love the campfire photos and the dawn looping. One of these days I'll do that. I seem to do my best looping at 2am :(

Just once, you need to go to bed early........er.......and get up for dawn looping and pics.

Sorry I was distracted ..... Squirrel

Happens to the best of us.

Great early morning photos Aaron. My favorite time of day at the Fort.

For me, it's a sub. And I wash it down with pop.

Grinders are an extra service at Mickey's Backyard Massage Parlor and Casino.

Sub and pop. You really are a mid-westerner.

Will there be a Youtube video of this service? Never-mind.

2-7-13 (continued)

We are on our way to check-in at Bay Lake Tower:

I went inside and checked in with Javier, who was very pleasant to deal with. He assured us that our room request (high floor/outer-north side) would be available this afternoon, but it was only 1000am and checkout at BLT is 1100. So we gave them my cell number that they could text and headed toward Downtown Disney. While en route to DD, I told my wife, "I bet the other side of the camper dinette cushions are vinyl. If I would have flipped them over when we moved in, the seat would have just wiped off and I wouldn't have burned a damn hole in it." She asked how I would know that and I told her that I remembered my parents' pup cushions had vinyl on one side when we stayed at the Fort during my childhood. Oh well, we continued to DD.

A couple minutes after we arrived at DD, I received a call from Curt. Apparently we left a couple things behind. One of them being my spike!!! I left it on the table next to the grill, under the canopy. Son of a .......

Curt said they would be around the Fort for much of the day so I told him we would meet back up with him later. This day has gone awesome so far....see eyeroll here.

Things were going to get better though.

We headed into the marketplace and the girls went to use the ladies while DS and I persused the store windows:

I thought it was cool how they used the dolls to form the dress of the princess in the windows. I don't know if those have always been there, but that was the first time I noticed them. If the girls hadn't used the restroom, I still wouldn't have seen them on that side of the building.

The girls were back and we were headed inside World of Disney:

The kids decided to let Stitch spit on them.

Next we headed to the Legostore:

Feb2013DisneyTrip587_zpsa64ee407.jpg

Feb2013DisneyTrip588_zps25bec27f.jpg

We looked around inside for a bit and then went outside and let the kids build cars to race:

My daughter built her car and raced it down the track.

Then.

It happened.

Some dirtbag, jack wagon of a parent took her car (that she built) and said he and his kid had it first.

Now. I don't know how things work all the time at the Lego store, but today......you had to get a set of wheels from an employee who was working outside and build your vehicle on top of those wheels. My DD received those wheels from the employee and then built her own damn car. She didn't find it laying around. I watched her get the wheels and then build the freaking car.

So, DW and I told DD to go to the man and tell him to please give her the car back that she built. He looked around and then back down to my DD with a disgusted look on his face. I then heard the imbecile state to his kid, "Fine. We don't need this car. We'll build a way better car than that." WTF?

He handed the car back to my DD. MInd you. We were trying to teach DD a thing about getting her things back from others by using good manners, but I was watching this dolt closely from very close-by while this played out.

When I heard what he said (after already clearly trying to take the toy from my 4-year old daughter), I did what any self respecting person would do when they can't resort to violence.......I followed him around taking his picture.....even when I was only a few feet away and he was looking right at me.

Because....

If you are going to act like a total DB, I will make you famous:

He is the DB in the blue shirt:

Hi! Be pissed all you want DB. I am taking your picture anyway!

Feb2013DisneyTrip593_zps1b536371.jpg

Ok. Now just a couple pics of my kids having a good time together sans DB:

After a good hand washing, we passed this place (for the time being) and headed toward lunch:

We stopped for a Buzz on the way:

More to come. Stay Tuned my fiendish ones...

We were headed here for the first time ever for lunch:

Feb2013DisneyTrip597_zpsb9065f4e.jpg

No food pics. Fail.

I totally forgot.

I had the club which was de-lish.

DW had the Tuna Melt.

DS had the kids pizza sandwich and DD had mac n cheese.

Everyone liked their lunch. We will be back again in the future. The place was a mad house though. We were lucky to get a table.

After lunch we walked around and looked in a few shops:

Then DS and I went in the sports store while DW and DD looked at girly stuff:

Feb2013DisneyTrip612_zps81281404.jpg

Feb2013DisneyTrip613_zps1a493797.jpg

After looking at the bats that they make on site, we looked at a display that shows the steps of manufacturing a baseball:

Feb2013DisneyTrip614_zps2c4b9b2e.jpg

Then, I noticed that they must have heard that Bob would be coming to town for spring training:

Feb2013DisneyTrip615_zpsecbe4dab.jpg

All I have to say to them having all that Phillies stuff is:

Feb2013DisneyTrip616_zpsc33ff66c.jpg

Then I turned around and saw this:

Feb2013DisneyTrip617_zps7e84494d.jpg

Feb2013DisneyTrip618_zps15c9ff98.jpg

"Dad. That nice lady that likes Kyle Busch likes Clemson."

After the sports store, we ended up back here:

Feb2013DisneyTrip619_zps4590269f.jpg

Apparently Stitch's spit feels good when it is warm out.

Next, we went to grab some ice cream:

Feb2013DisneyTrip620_zps9bd937c8.jpg

Again, no pood forn. I have failed you.

I had a rootbeer float. Everyone else got variour flavors of ice cream in waffle cones.

Then.

Of Course.

The kids had to let Stitch spit on them again. Why not?

One last pic before leaving DD:

Feb2013DisneyTrip623_zps2c56416c.jpg

Once back at the truck, I called Curt and found out they were setting up a PUP in the 1500 loop. So off we went back to the Fort. I retrieved the spike. We chatted for a bit and during the course of conversation confirmed the sat cushions were vinyl on the opposite side. Now I know and next time the cloth side will be face down. Next time will be in December; which is only 9 months away.

We left Curt and Jody to their work and headed back to BLT. We figured we could at least get the luggage unloaded and onto a cart so when the room was ready, we would be ready. We got the luggage all unloaded and by the time we got inside, the room was ready.

We headed up and the luggage was soon to follow.

In the next update, I will give you all the pics you could ever want (or maybe never wanted) of our BLT room, views, etc.

You are clearly not a DB or Jackwagon as you take responsibility for your actions. An accident happened and being the man you were clearly raised to be you called Curt letting him know. Now clearly the DB at DTD either was not raised with the same high standards you were or he was and did not pay attention . The question is will his children follow in his footsteps? I hope and pray the answer is, "No!"

We love DTD. Earl of Sandwich has been our arrival go-to meal from the first trip. We used to do Rose & Crown our first full day dinner, but after last time, we are going to make a new tradition. I love the tuna melt myself, but if the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich is there, I'm getting that instead.

You can never be spit upon by Stitch too many times. My boys are older and they still like it. Weirdos.

Sorry about the DB at the Lego store. I'm not fond of that place. I still watch my kid [eldest has outgrown it] like a hawk to make sure no one messes with them.

Looking forward to BLT photos.

Hoagies here.

I'm going to dispute that. My South Jersey family all call them subs. And it is... Atlantic City Sub Shop and White House Subs.

You did a lot of exploring in that 90 minutes with your son! Love the early morning pics too.

What a DB in the Lego store! You handled it well. I love them pic where he clearly knows you're taking pictures of him.

I'm really more of Philly than South jersey. I would go to subway to order a hoagie lol.

Actually, I wouldn't go to Subway because we have better places than that but its hoagies for us.

Whew! Caught up.

I was having trouble keeping up w/ this one……it's so good!

First of all, adorable family. Sweet kids. The way you describe your son he sounds a lot like my oldest.

Those cookies look incredible. Bet they were delis!

We're also Tomorrowland Speedway fans……we're a dying breed aren't we?

Where did you get that potato salad in the burger photo? Man it looks good!

I have more comments but will save them for another post!
