Those pipes look like barriers to keep canoes/kayaks from the Fort away from the Disney elite who will be paying big bucks to enjoy the wilderness Disney offers those who can pay. Not a very effective barrier, since a simple portage will put you on the other side. Merely an annoyance. I am thinking after the hotel is open I may be able to entertain guests with a little nekked alligator wrasslin in that thar pond they be buildin.

I made a reservation. I'm actually not that interested in the menu...but for some reason I get into the quest for a "hard to get" ADR now and then. So I took it as my mission today to get one. And I finally did get through using the UK dining number. I bet the CM was surprised that I didn't have a British accent. :rofl2: In any case, unless the reviews are great for dinner I will likely end up canceling it. But I am interested in the atmosphere, especially at night during the holidays. I bet it is just magical. We will see.

Arrival and Day 1 DD and I cut school and work on Friday so we could get an early start. DH was going to come after work with everyone’s bikes. The plan was for DD and I to set up our site, and be chilling by the pool with a cold one waiting for DH when he got there around 4:00. We were packed up and left the house at 10:30, we stopped by our camping buddies house since they had never been there and wanted to follow us. Now DD and I are totally new to camping but we had practiced, plus the family that came with us

This is the one week anniversary of our two kitten ordeal. I know they're only cats, but they shouldn't have to suffer. His sister now has a home, a good one, I hope. He's gone from suffering from malnutrition with diarrhea, stuff oozing out of his eyes and nose, sleeping all day, and having to be forced fed, to a bright eyed, playful, swatting at Buddy, eating like a little pig and completely healthy, little guy. He's on his last two days of medication and really doesn't need it anymore anyway. Here he is getting into trouble, which he's real good at doing.
