  2. No more noodles. My children were sad when they saw the ugly black plastic containers replace the orange take out style ones. But no noodles, I don't know if they will even want to go to AK now.

  3. Hello! And Thank You! I am a long time lurker (thanks to all of you that post) and this thread is what pushed me to join. Something about the power of saving money! Thank you Carol for posting this information. Myself, my daughter and my mom were all able to use this method and reap the rewards of saving $! We traveled to the world on January 7th 2015 with our UT tickets purchased and in our MDE accounts. We went into the MK that night and AK the next morning.   4. Compare that to the old place where some of used to hang out. You could pop in there after a year away, and catch up on the little bit of content that was posted in your absence in an hour or so. TCD

  6. Most of those resorts are at the same or higher costs than staying on property. The Omni is a nice resort. It's at the Championsgate exit west of Celebration. Nice rooms, beautiful property, lots for kids to do. The have a quiet pool, a family pool and a lazy river. They have crafts and scuba lessons for extra fees. We've stayed there a couple of times using Priceline and got great rates. But they have now followed the majority of other hotels in the area and have added either a resort fee or a parking fee of about $25 a day. It's just another way that the hotels gouge you like t
