  1. Here is some first hand accounts of using the Disney Vacation Account. http://www.easywdw.com/forums/showthread.php?16537-Disney-Vacation-Account-first-hand-report&highlight=account Bear in mind that the first few pages of posts are over a year old. I still found it enlightening to read about people's experiences over the months.

  3. One possible option to look into might be the Disney Vacation Account... https://disneyvacationaccount.disney.go.com/ You can make contributions to it with debit, credit or Disney gift cards. My SIL opened one because she'd gotten some gift cards as gifts and didn't want to have to track them all individually.

  6. I'll add Grayton Beach State Park, just outside of Seaside, FL. The full hook-ups don't have much shade but spring break and the summer still books up 11 months in advance. WBI

  7. As of today you can book through Nov 6, 2016, which should be late enough to do both MNSSHP and MVMCP and Food & Wine! Party dates, of course, have not been announced, so you may want to pad a couple more days to the end.

  8. DE Seashore is open and kinda packed in, but the seabreeze helps and you're a short walk to the guarded beach (free with campsite). They opened up more sites on the north side of the Indian River inlet and they are a bit more spacious. Only problem is no guarded beach on that side. We have ressies for Aug 21-25. Think about going.

  10. In case you're wondering, here's what it looks like:. Tonight, the turning lane was closed. You had to make a hard right at the intersection.

  11. We like Fort Pickens in Pensacola. Unfortunately there aren't many shaded sites due to hurricane Ivan, but it is still a great place for a beach trip.

  12. Another great beach campground (this one on the west coast) is Crystal Cove in Tofino, British Columbia. It's on the far west side of Vancouver Island and the scenery just doesn't get much prettier (unless maybe you've been to New Zealand? I'm guessing that might beat it). The campground itself is nice with beautiful landscaping and very clean facilities, but the best part is the private beach where your dog is welcome. That doesn't seem to be as common these days. http://www.crystalcove.ca/ And you can surf here, if that's your thing.

  13. I am not sure online from a guest point of view. I do know you can call Disney and pay off your reservation over the phone and you can use as many gift cards as you want. Some of the CM's have worked with me and are easier about it than others but if you put them all in order where say the first 8 are the same for a while and then another collection of numbers that are the same. They will copy the first section and then paste it in and add on your remaining numbers. If you get one of those CM's it can speed things up.

  15. Galveston, Tx. Galveston Island RV Resort For any in this area, we just camped here & it's very new, nice & clean. Not the Fort but still a nice campground. Owners are very friendly. Nice pool & club house. We had a roomy pull thru site with a limited view of the ocean. I could drink my coffee & watch the ocean from my dinette table! So relaxing. It's across the street from the beach but easy beach access. Bathrooms are very clean & separate bathrooms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
