Ask away.
Fortfiends.net  is the only place you can ask questions about the Fort and get accurate answers.
Unfortunately, you can't call Disney and ask. The folks who answer the phones for Disney have never been to the Fort (most have never even heard of it).
The "experts" on other boards are lucky to visit the Fort once a year. But, that doesn't stop them from guessing and/or making stuff up to answer questions.
So, what other questions do you have?

We are spending our first Halloween at the Fort too! 

I really want to bring my grandchildren over for the couple days around Halloween. I didn't realize the Fort did anything special. I thought just the guests took trick or treat upon themselves. 

If you are at the Fort on Halloween, you would be making a huge mistake by going to the parks and missing all of the assorted activities at the Fort.
It's one of the biggest events of the year, and they have started spreading out the fun on 2 or 3 days and not just on Halloween itself.
Look back on some of the past Halloween activity guides to get an idea of what is in store for you.

MNSSHP is a great event, but it pales in comparison to the Fort on Halloween night. My children have had so much fun during Halloween night at the Fort that they begged to go back this year after missing it this past year and the oldest is 19 and the youngest is 11. I am sure we will go to MNSSHP but it will not be Halloween night.

This is a no brainer.
Definitely do not pay $100+ a ticket to go to MNSSHP on Halloween night.
The Fort is a blast on Halloween night.

Not much more disappointing than seeing a starlight mint in your plastic pumpkin. 

The melamine microwave plates are no joke. I tried nuking food one day on our old set- got to the point where the plate was literally hot to the touch, food charred, and the rest of the food was still cold. In other news, I can tell you the exact day that I learned our plates were NOT microwave safe....

They're great but I'm not sure how many times I'd want to put them thru the dishwasher.
And the big problem for me is melamine is not microwave safe.....  how can you cook w/o a microwave??  
Besides, I'm with TCD, I use paper plates whenever possible

I agree I like nothing better on a vacation than to park the car once I get there and not move it again until I go home. Used to manage this quite a bit on vacations in England. Given that things are generally a lot more car centric here, it's really nice  not to have to drive at Disney.  Plus Epcot is actually one of the few places where both of us  tend to have an adult beverage. Prior to last year I was the only one in the house driving so being able to have an adult beverage at a place I'm not sleeping is a bit of a novelty.

Thats one of the biggest perks about staying on property.  And your right 99% of the time the wait for a bus, boat, or monorail is less than 15 or 20 minutes.   Even now we uber from our condo to the parks and Disney springs. I rather pay a couple of bucks than have to worry about driving and parking. 

We never drive to any of the parks.  We always take the boat or bus.  If we drive we have to load the three wheelchairs in the van, then unload at the park then reload to return to the Fort.  On the boat, one stays up front and the other two go to the newer handicapped seating on the front row of seats.  On the bus during our last visit, the CM let us strap two chair is the two positions and one of us would hold Blake and the other hold his chair in the aisle.  I don't know if we will always get away with that, but we have had to take two busses at times.  Often the CM would call and get some priority seating for whoevwer in taking the second bus.  At any rate, we would be on vacation and a few extra minutes does not bother us.

We're the opposite, we prefer the buses BECAUSE of the ECV. That thing is just so darn heavy that disassembling and loading in and out of the truck is a major pain. We much prefer to drive the ECV through the Fort and board the bus or boat. It may take more time, but lots less work.

Have your reservations "linked" with a "travel with" number by the reservation system. (Call reservations and request this.)
Request that your sites be adjacent to each other when you link them.

10 people are allowed to stay on the site.
There has never been an issue with more coming in for a day visit.
If you do not have 10 staying on site, then put the visitors name on the reservation ( or at least 1 person from each car), get Magic Bands for them and give them to the people before you head down to the Fort.. That way they can get thru the gate without any issues.

BTW anyone can visit the fort  or any other resort. Whether their guests or not. They're just not allowed to use the swimming pools.

Because of the burn ban, the fort will be closed and all campers are encouraged to take all their RVs to the lime garage at Disney springs and watch the rain Forrest cafe erupt every so often in place of the chip and Dale campfire

Iirc the movie does start a little bit late.  When DD was younger we would take a little nap.  Then go swimming and watch the movie from the pool.  Great memories!

Chip and Dale come out and meet everyone before the movie starts.  

I'm sure they will still have the movie and hopefully they will surprise everyone with a special treat. 

I expect they will still do the singalong and movie minus the fire.

Just made our reservations for MLK weekend in January.  Hopefully we'll see a couple of manatees... might be too early in the season but, $20 for full hook-ups is pretty cool! 

I still haven't seen the movie, but I did go and see the free preview at DHS over the weekend.
They have Emma Watson's actual dress (allegedly) on display in a case in the waiting area outside of the entrance to the theater.

Oh, and I heard on the radio this weekend that, after only two weeks,  the receipts from the live action film have already exceeded the receipts from the original animated film.
