We just saw it this afternoon and I agree it was well done.  The cgi was seemless and the performances weren't bad at all.  We weren't sure what to expect with Emma Watson but she was quite good.
Only one scene seriously struck our funny bone and that was Belle on the top of the hill - looked at each other and said "Julie Andrews, Sound of Music"  - our daughter was not amused!!!

There is usually a crowd come in that are not staying at the Fort and even local people will come in just for T or T. 2000 loop is not in the center of things like 1500 so not as many outsiders come around there.

I also have a tent site reserved, we might be neighbors but I want 2000 loop, it won't be as crowded with outsiders as 1500

Just use it to put out the roaring bonfires that you have at your site.  After all, who needs a contained fire pit, Disney rules are made to be broken!

Just bring along a dishwasher and then you are allowed to drain your grey water right onto the ground.

If you have a small enough grey water container, you can carry it to a toilet in the comfort station or the laundry sink in the laundry. I have a very small 5 gallon grey water container and that is where I emptied mine when I stayed in partial loops

On numerous occasions FIENDS have congregated together to pass out candy and enjoy the commaraderie.  Maybe even enjoy a few adult beverages.  :)

It was obvious Disney lost control of that whole thing this weekend... cars were driving the wrong way just to get around that mess... I'm thankful they were not there for our whole stay. I literally walked in the bathroom this morning and asked them nicely once to make room at the sink .. they had enough makeup and hair products to do all the princesses in the Magic kingdom .. when they made the choice to ignore me i elbowed my way in the middle of at least 12 girls and washed my face and hands and got their stuff wet. Total silence. Kids today [emoji849].

Thanks. This year we are there the weekend before Halloween. I'm trying to talk DH to extend, but looking at availability, it's sold out.

I suggest that you don't but too much, you want to not have any left. Just give it out until  you run out and don't worry about not having any, there will be plenty there and no one will fuss at you.

Much depends on what loop you're in.  One year we went through almost 800 pieces.

We were in 2000 last year and passed out about 5 lbs of assorted candies. Just bought the bags of assorted individual wrapped candies and enjoyed sitting in loop entrance and meeting the people. Was not a big group but had a good time. Have another reservation for this year and hope to get same site again, we were at the very first of the 2000 loop. This year should not be too crowed as Halloween is on Wednesday and not the weekend.

    That's smart thinking.
We missed 2016 , but were in the 1500 and 2000 loops in 2014 and 2015.
1500 didn't get too many people.
    2000 had more.
But we didn't stay at the site, we took the granddaughters trick or treating.
I know the 900 loop gets tons of people, also others off of the main road get slammed.
But if you have little ones to take around you don't have to give out candy at all if you don't want to.

    Day 2 6/28/11
After having a good night’s rest it is necessary for us to head to Magic Kingdom for our first full day of theme park fun.
Notice the dark clouds at the marina. This will be a recurring theme throughout this report. Unfortunately we didn’t have many of those beautiful blue sky days for picture taking. The trade off for having temps that weren’t as bad as they could have been made it worth having dark vacay pics.

Since this is our first boat ride to MK… here is our obligatory pic of the Discovery Island Shipwreck. You knew it had to be done. H and I visited DI on our honeymoon. ♥
Still makes me sad that it’s in ruins but I won’t dwell on it… moving on..
On our ride across Bay Lake we see this adventurous person. I wanted to parasail this trip but it never happened. Hopefully one day.

One day I hope to not need a bag in the parks. These security lines cramp my style. Not to mention the screaming, whining and complaining that happens because we have to be here instead of the entrance line.
The kids aren’t crazy about it either. :rofl2:
ETA: Hey! I just noticed I'm in this photo. I'm right behind the lady in the sunglasses and black sandals. Two people to the left of the lamp post. Looks like I'm trying to get my stuff ready for inspection.

We took a few pics of the Train station and Main Street coming in but they aren’t that great and we took hundreds more on other days so I’ll hold out and post those instead. The first thing on the agenda…every time.. Our shortcut through Tomorrowland Terrace to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. It’s like the elephant walk. There can be no deviation to this route without a massive meltdown. So on we go..

(Remember I told you to get used to the backside of KFK pics. Sorry, blame H.)

Next on our Elephant Walk Tour of Tomorrow land (EWTOT): The Peoplemover and then Carousel of Progress. We like the C.O.P. but believe it or not the kids love it. They actually pull us in by our arms. Comfy seats and A/C… it’s good with me. (The pics I took here aren’t great but there are tons from other days.)
While we were on the Peoplemover it started to rain. Hard. So we lucked out to be out of the rain for a while. But not long enough..

With our EWTOT complete we starting making our way toward Fantasyland. Between the rain and kids we weren’t sure what we were going to do next.
I think Lou was right. Seeing the one of a kind Disney Transport bus with the Mickey ear brake lights must have been good luck because over the course of a 15 night stay at WDW we avoided this:

Last year the Winnie the Pooh ride was being redone. The results, I think, are awesome!

Little H and Gabe really wanted to ride so we decided to let this be our last attraction of the morning. A little Fort time under the awning was sounding pretty inviting by now so I snapped a few photos of the new expansion…at least what I could see on our way out. I was wishing I were taller right about then. J

Lil’ H really wanted to ride on the front of the boat back to the Fort. I’m game. Not a fan of the dark clouds but I’ll take one for the kid.

Now Gabe will NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES allow you to put a poncho on him.
I know some of you may be thinking “If he were MY kid he’d be in that poncho!”
    My response: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:
In the attempt not to look like Gabe was the poor neglected one I didn’t wear a poncho either.

I’m not sure if these were taken going, coming or going back but I always have a flood of memories passing by here. I won’t dwell or get sappy… yet.

It was really too rainy to take the kids out looping so we hung around the campsite hoping the rain would slow down a little so we could go back to MK that evening. It did. I’ll post pics in the next installment.

Just get the combo unit and have the install done at the dealer. In my experience by the time you go and buy all the stuff to get around getting what you really want, what you end up really wanting is the thing you wanted in the first place, and then buy it on top of the junk things that didn't work. On top of that, if you change trailers again, you take it out and put it in the new one.
Tell them you'll pay retail for the unit. if they'll put the the vent in for free.

We will be there for Halloween this year. I'm looking forward to seeing all the decorations, but sure hope we don't encounter this. I am not shy, I will ask people to turn off their lights if they are lighting up our site after 10:00 pm.

I plan to decorate, although in a low key, hopefully tasteful way. I'm already shopping and planning. I don't play well with inflatables. Just as with any campground, I will have our lights off far before 10, especially if there are families with young children camping anywhere near us in tents or pop ups. Having once been the young family in the tent, I will never be the obnoxious camper, with the lights or noise, keeping their children awake.

At non-Fort campgrounds, I don't even like to use lanterns, and often don't. Not due to neighbors, but just because I like it dark. It's camping. Why light up the site like you're at home? A my perfect campsite, the only light is from the campfire and the stars.
