This will definitely help.  But is it me or can't they keep up with their own updates....Downtown Disney??  Shouldn't it be Disney Springs?

The municipal bus systems in Tallahassee and Gainesville (and probably a lot of other cities in America) have apps which customers can download and which show them, in real time, where their bus is in relation to the bus stop.  Disney could co this if they wanted to, but they probably don't want guests in the low rent resorts to see all of the buses being diverted to the deluxe resorts.

These video monitors should have been in use a long time ago.  It's good they've at least taken this step.

Wow, this picture makes me a bit misty eyed.

I have VERY similar pictures from our first trip with our girls 15 years ago.

    Here is one of them.

That girl in pink is turning 20 soon.  And the one on the right in the blue dress just turned 18.

I know you already know this as you have older kids....but enjoy every moment!  Time sure flies by quickly.

And if you leave with something new it will be just like going to the parks. Your wallet will be empty.
You know you were all thinking it.

I was going to say way back when this started, a buddy of mine was looking at a new Colorado and the dealer couldn't give him any break on the pricing and he was friends with him, so he ended up just getting a fullsize black out edition. I think you'll be happier with a full size truck in the long run.

    Best Regards,

    Just booked a partial site 10/28 - 11/1.

When I was clicking on the calendar at the bottom it said minimum stay 1 night 2 days, maximum stay 30 nights 31 days.

So being inquisitive, I tried booking another trip just for one night.

It allowed me to book just a Friday night, and another one just a Saturday night and I even tried Labor Day weekend for 1 night on Friday and again on Saturday and it allowed those also.

I cancelled them before the final click.

So have they done away with the 3/5 day weekend minimums?

It looks like it's going to be unanimous- I also try to keep all of the equipment I need in the camper so it's ready to go.

I have a master list that I've developed over the years of things that I don't keep in the camper, but that I bring on each trip.  With a pop-up, there's not room for everything in the camper, and I also don't leave electronics in there, so there's a shelf in the garage where I keep that stuff.  Some of this stuff doubles as emergency hurricane supplies- small propane tanks, battery operated radio,  flashlights, etc.  Living in Florida, you know about that.

One small trick that works for me is that I bring beach towels (2 per person) rather than regular bath towels.  Those can be brought to the comfort stations or the pool/water parks.  Also, I have everyone bring their pillows from their beds at home. Those go in the tow vehicle, as the kids can use those for napping, and there's no need for an extra set to store.

I also keep paper goods and disposable utensils stocked in the camper, including aluminum foil,  TP and paper towels.  I make it a point to keep a list of supplies I need to replenish, as you are likely to forget to restock when you are getting ready for your next trip.  You can also use that list to remind yourself of things that you wish you had brought, and it will help you to remember to bring it next time.

I agree with the advice not to buy too much stuff.  One frying pan and a couple of pots are all that you really need.  I don't think you need a whole mixing bowl set- just get a couple of large bowls.  Those can be used to mix batter for pancakes, or as serving bowls, when needed.

You mentioned a Coleman lantern.  If you don't have any, consider getting a couple of clip-on spot-lights to bring.  Unless you're dry camping someplace, you're going to have electricity, and you may as well use it rather than having to buy fuel.  The electric is safer too.

One issue I see that you may have is that there are two Comfort Stations that are close to the 1600 loop, and they may place you near the loop entrance/exit, rather than close to the comfort station shared with the 1500 loop.  For your purposes, you would probably be better off if you were closer to the Comfort Station shared with 1500.  Somewhere in the 1627-1636 range would be good.  That would allow you to use the path by the CS to get to the 1500 loop bus stop, and the cross-walk to the footbridge that takes you to the pool and Meadow Recreation Area is right there as well.

There is a lot more vehicle traffic near the loop entrance, which is something you don't want your kids near.

We're with most other Fiends and our RV is fully stocked. ..pots, pans, towels, etc. I only pack our food and clothes.
It may take a few trips, but you'll learn what works best for y'all.
    Have fun!!

We have a large electric skillet for home but we don't take it camping. I just remembered, I bought a brand new 5 qt. Crock pot from Goodwill that I added to the camper stock.

We have separate everything for the MH.  All we pack are clothes and food.

We also have a Coleman Roadtrip grill.  We have a half and full griddle that can replace the grill grates and also stove burners that can replace the grates.  With the half griddle we can mix and match depending on our needs

Count us among the separate equipment for camping group. Before we bought our PUP we had already equipped ourselves with a lot of basics for when we did our tent camping road trip. We ended up updating some of that to better things when we got the pop up and a truck.

One thing I had at the house that moved over to the camper that I think is very versatile but I never see anyone mention is this

    http://www.amazon.com/Presto-06852-16-Inch-Electric-Skillet/dp/B0007XRTDG/ref=sr_1_17?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1444577767&sr=1-17&keywords=electric+griddle

Thanks to the full range of things it can do I dont have to have several other devices. My grandparents had one when I was growing up and they used it for all sorts of things. In the house with just the two of us I was only using it when I had company over but in the camper I used it all the time.

Soon as we buy a new camper this is going right back in. And it will probably come to the Fort with us at Christmas

I'm the one who has to carry everything into the camper. The more duplicates we have, the less I have to carry!
Now, we did buy cheap stuff first and have slowly replaced it with better stuff. But even with the amount of camping we did (each year: 50, 50, 100 nights), I don't think I would change and have ran out to buy good stuff right out of the gate.
Now that it is home, it's a different story.

Im with you on having the trailer stocked with its own stuff. It makes it much easier when it comes time to load and unload. Some our stuff was extras from around the house, garage sale finds, or bought for the trailer. The kitchen I keep stocked with dry foods, spices, mixes and such, then rotate them out when needed.
My suggestion is start out with the basics and add and subtract as you use it. There will be things youll find that you really need and others that you thought you couldnt live without and never use while camping. As you find things you need or wish you had add them, from time to time look through what you have and remove what you havent used. Youll be surpised how much you can hide and forget you have, even in a small camper.
A couple decks of cards or some games your family enjoys is a thing to find a spot for though. Great for rainy days or just relaxing around the site. we keep a cribage board, deck of cards and uno in the trailer.
