Lou... got a reaction from BradyBzLyn...Mo in Anybody know some good spots around the fort to Fish?
If she finds that she likes fishing, send her off for the day, see ya honey, have fun, but I'm not going.
For a lasting marriage, and I would know as I've been married for 2/3s of my life, do some things separately.
It's nice to have common interests, but don't feel compelled to do most things together. It holds both people back.
That's today's marriage tip from Dr. Lou.

Absolutely not, no break. I'm sure FF.net is paying her big bucks to post all that stuff. Why would she do it otherwise?
Have a great birthday day, Mo.

At 8pm tonight, all of you sane Fiends out there yell out.
ARE YOU TWO OUT OF YOUR MINDS?
It has to be loud enough for their hubbys to hear, so that they can start the paperwork for admittance into the loony bin.
They'll of course need a Florida attorney as they'll be picked up at the parks. As there are two Florida Fiend lawyers, it's doable, even though one of them might be doing the silly event and probably won't serve the papers to Mo and Nicole, but Gail will.

Nice job posting the webcam pics of the ship going through the locks, Judy.
Here's a selfie and another pic of the locks from their verandah.

No it's not a concierge cabin.
The medal TCD is referring to is the one I got in the drawing Mickey art class during our last cruise.
I'll be doing something a little more challenging. It's a longer cruise with more down time, and as I listen to books and don't read them, I'll be working on this out on the verandah while Gail is upstairs poolside reading.
I sketched it from a photo I saw this week, so it just needs painting. It's made to fit into my brief case size portable painting setup.

This is where our cabin is.
We originally had a "navigators verandah" cabin, but were upgraded. Maybe they thought I was Josh.
I'm sure when the captain was alerted, and I'm sure he was, that I would be on board, he insisted that I be close by just in case he needs me.
Hey, piloting a bus or giant cruise liner, it's the same thing. You just stay as far away from everything except when you're parking or docking.

Yes, step away from the computer and run. The people on here are nuts................but in a good way.

Lou... got a reaction from Tri-Circle-D in How to get to parks
Oh boy, jogging strollers, the third favorite thing drivers love to see as they pull up. Especially if it's going to be a full bus.
Of course people with those will wait until boarding begins before they take the booger muncher out. So now, everything stops because no one can get around them. And I love this request. "will you open the rear door so I can roll it in"? Oh sure, no problem.
Yup, some actually ask that.
Because the wife is the one that runs with it, the overweight husband has no clue how to fold it. So now, the genius husband has to get his in shape wife to fold it. It finally gets collapsed and of course the guy whacks at least 3 people on the head with it as he goes down the aisle.
People with these must realize that everyone on the bus and in the park, hates them because of that monstrosity?
My question is, why?
Why don't they invest the 20 bucks and get an umbrella stroller. Life will be easier for them and every one that's in front of them.
There is an oversize stroller policy at the parks, but Disney doesn't enforce it. What a surprise.
What are the bad reasons for bringing one of those things into an amusement park?
If the vast majority of people don't need one, why do some feel they need one?

I held back on that one. I tend to keep my feelings inside.

Yeah, but it's themed after a cartoon rat. That's ridiculous, who will go to a theme park that has a rat as a mascot?

Lou... got a reaction from Momof6....aka Marty in How to get to parks
There is no one good answer as to whether or not someone should drive or take the bus.
The bottom line is that more on-property guests with cars, will opt for the buses.
Unless a person is willing to put up with the negatives of the WDW bus system without complaining, don't ride them. They are what they are, take it or leave it.
And don't complain to the bus driver if in your opinion, it was a long wait. They know you're exaggerating, and they couldn't care less that you're unhappy with the service.

I agree with everything Carol wrote and you should follow her advice, however I can also tell you with 100% certainty that those drivers will be looking for a tip whether they handle your bags or not. I call them cockroaches.
They're not Disney CMs and some blatantly solicit tips for just driving the bus.
I don't understand why Disney allows it. A lot, if not most, people assume that they are CMs, and their behavior reflects badly on Disney.

Lou... got a reaction from BradyBzLyn...Mo in Interesting article on the news today
We're not talking apples, we're talking apple pie here
The quote is "As American as Mom, Baseball, and Apple Pie", not "As American as Mom, Baseball, and Granny Smith Apple Pie filling only with no sugar added".
It just doesn't flow.

If there is a single day when you should make a point of being at the Fort, it's Halloween. It really is a lot of fun, especially if other Fiends are there. Of course, I'm usually there too, but don't let that deter you.

Thank you.
I'm an old and feeble senior citizen living on cat food in a dilapidated house and need cognitive help from time to time.
Is that too much to ask?
I sure hope the meals on wheels people stop by today. Where's my walker?

Dang, I make a lot of sense.
If I close my eyes, I'd think it was me.
Chasing, that's too much work, just yell at them.
Here's me, yes those are plugs, they were on sale, and my snazzy new-ish cell phone. I wonder if it will fit in the lockers?
One question though, what's a credit card?

Not to mice, just one mouse.
If I talk to dogs and cats, why not talk to a mouse.
I know for a fact that you talk to three animals, not counting Brian.
