Seeing that I'll be getting a portion of that pile anyway, let's cut out the middle man and just give it directly to me. It's much more efficient that way. Disney will appreciate it. And don't worry, you can count on me to give them their share.
Let's see, bus drivers get paid $35/hr, ya, I know, we're under paid, and I work at least 70 hrs. a week, so just send me half of the pile. In fact, I'll save you the trouble of shipping it seeing that you'll be at Fort.
    Plain brown bags please.

I agree, they should not sell Disney Princess costumes in old lady sizes. And that's all I have to say about that.
Also, Andrew, you may want to position the two FSU blowups beside each other rather than one behind the other next time. The expression on the face of the one hunched over is suspicious.

Jasper County, what, was the name Goober County already taken?
Don't encourage him Monique because you know what's next, three dozen photos of my beloved EWP.
When I loose my mind, you'll notice I didn't say if, and I decide to do a TR, I'm just getting the obligatory fireworks photos off the internet. Who's gonna know?
They probably won't even be WDW fireworks photos.

I sing this song as I load the bus. Hey it's better than IASW.
(Sung to the tune of Rawhide)
Move 'em on, head 'em up,
Head 'em up, move 'em out,
Move 'em on, head 'em out Rawhide!
Set 'em out, ride 'em in
Ride 'em in, let 'em out,
Cut 'em out, ride 'em in Rawhide.

In a thread a while back I mentioned that there were a couple of posters honoring the military at the main WDW transportation center located at TTC. This is the main location for all the transportation services at WDW.
Bus, monorail, & watercraft operations are all handled out of this location. If you're facing the ticket booths at TTC, it's the building on the far left. It doesn't look like much but there is a lot going on inside there.
When I wrote about the military posters, Ed asked to see photos, but I kept forgetting my camera. Well, I finally got my act together today and took this photo.
While I'm at it Ed, thanks for your service. It is greatly appreciated.

8:45am, driving underneath the WDW sign on Osceola Parkway to the AK bus hub, beautiful, clear, sunny morning. Every time I do that, I think, how many people would want to be doing this? Wow, got a pretty good parking space in the AK CM lot. I won't have to take a cab to get to the front.
It's time to clock in, done. There are a ton of drivers waiting for a bus. It's going to be a while before I start working. It's not the most efficient system, but whataya gonna do? Thirty minutes later, finally, I get assigned a bus. It's always a crap shoot of what you're gonna get. As Forest Gump said, getting a bus assignment is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. Well, maybe not exactly in that context. But because they've just added 40 or so brand new buses, the odds are in the drivers favor now. I didn't get one of the new buses, but at least I didn't get one of the old clunkers, not that many left.
Ok, quick bus inspection and I'm off to the WL & GF, not bad for a first run. It's early, but there are guests at AK going to the GF. Good thing, I hate driving an empty bus, but believe it or not, that's what we do most of the time. It's off to the ritzy GF & rustic WL.
Hmm, lots of people going to AK this morning. I picked up a lot of people at both resorts. Of course I have to stop at BB first and when I get close to the AK hub, no automatic trip on the computer, gotta call in the old fashion way. I hate when that happens.
Dispatch, bus 4879. over the radio I hear, Magic Bus coming back? No, I'm not a Magicbus, I'm an AK bus. Oh, who's driving the bus? Me, and I give them my name. And they say, 10-4, and finally give me my next run.
I do that run and it's back to AK , same thing. No I'm not a Magic bus, I'm an AK bus. It never did got straightened out. I guess the automatic bus dispatch system was having a bad day.
So I thought it was a little ironic that I was a reluctant Magicbus today.

I agree. I think that the so called captain was pulling your leg. WDW is private property. If they want to kill a tree, they can.
Also WDW security are not police, just CMs that mostly sit on their butts or stand around all day and do very little work.
Some of them suffer from the Barney Fife syndrome and think that they are police.

It's not just your run of the mill Hippie, it's the accordion playing hippie or APH, that are the problem.
Drove through the 3000 loop today and saw this sign. See, management is listening.
    I didn't see a single APH there

Disclaimer, none of the photos used in this post were taken by me.
Ahh, the famous or more correctly, infamous utilidors or tunnels. The concept although unique and good for having tours is in some ways a failure and was never used at any WDW park again. Walt's desire to keep supplies and CMs going to their work stations out of guest's sight hasn't turned out to be very practical. The construction costs and day to day operations using the design is inferior to the concept used at all of the other parks, a simple perimeter road.
There are cafeterias, locker rooms, rest rooms, offices, wardrobe, supplies, CM hair saloon, and of course, CM access to the attractions.
Below is an overlay of the tunnel system over MK park.

#1 is the main entrance to the tunnel system. That's ground level, therefore, the tunnels are not tunnels. Magic Kindom park is built on the second level.
Some of the soil dug out to make Seven Seas Lagoon was used to back fill around the tunnels.
    # 2 is the castle
#3 is the north end of Main Street USA

This is a view of a typical tunnel. Who's that walking down the tunnel?

    Walt Disney World
Roy Disney changed it from Disney World to honor his brother Walt after his death.

    Animal Kingdom
It was Wild Animal Kingdom. Disney removed the "Wild" from the name in part to avoid a potential conflict with Mutual of Omaha's "Wild Kingdom" TV show.

    Fulton's Crab House
Originally it was Empress Lilly, named after Walt Disney's wife Lillian.

    Daisy Duck
    It was Donna Duck.

    Goofy
Whos's full name is Goofy G. Goof was Dippy Dawg. His first story was named "Dippy the Goof" and is where the name Goofy originated from.
