  1. I’m sorry I don’t mean to offend anybody that has an autistic child but this lawsuit is ridiculous. Their main argument seems to be that making the child wait disrupts their routine. doesn’t taking them to Disney world disrupt their routine? Doesn't giving the parents and child a return time allow them to do other things so they don’t have to wait? Or wait they call that “virtual” wait What the heck is a virtual wait and how does that change the child’s routine? And what’s their solution? Give them a pass that lets him ride any ride they want to add any
  2. At Epcot she will see more species of fish in one place and time then she will probably see else where.
  3. I haven’t dove the west coast of Florida but I had a friend that did. He went to Venice and dove for shark teeth. I’ve never heard of any “great” dive sites on the west coast. With the exception of a few wreck dives. But wreck dives are usually not for beginner divers. I would recommend going down to key largo and diving John pennekamp Park. Most dives are 25-35’ and they will see tons of sea life
  4. That’s awesome! Did y’all dive with him? Were you able to get pix from the outside? It’s just going to be the three of us so I’m not sure how we wil get pictures of us. I might have to call an old cranky ex-bus driver and see if he will be around to take some pix. Lol. I’m sure I will enjoy it as much as she will. I too am (was) an instructor. My first student was my DW. I quickly learned that you should never teach your loved ones to scuba. Lol. I think DD was about 8 the first time she got to breath off of my regulator in our swimming pool. She also did a resort course i
  5. We will be there October 15-22nd. Planning on hitting Epcot two or three times. If anyone is at Epcot on the 18th come by the Seas pavilion and watch me, DW, and DD(13) scuba dive in the aquarium. My DD just got certified and where better to take her for her first dive
  6. I’ve aleays wanted to try Monsieur Paul’s. Do you remember if they did a special menu for Christmas? does artist point do a special menu for Christmas dinner?
  7. You know I can’t turn down a food german buffet. (Or bier).
  8. Thanks. I can’t temeber the last time we ate there. That is definitely an option.
  9. We will be at WDW on Christmas day and wanted a few recommendations, from fiends on where we should go eat Christmas dinner. It will be me, DW, and DD14. Thanks advance for your suggestions.
  10. I’m in. i wish we lived closer to be able to take a quick weekend trip. Too short FP? never heard of it. But it’s a pretty cool idea. did you happen to catch the wait times for FoP when you got in? have you ridden it before?
  11. I love Wally World. I grew up going there as a kid. I also got to ride colossus on opening day. Glad to hear the old Park is still doing well Wow. Y’all got a lot done at Disneyland and CA.
  12. Lol. Btw. My degree is in journalism. It’s ashamed what today’s “journalists” consider journalism
  13. If he was working on the utility vehicle how did it jump a curb...? was it moving while he was trying to fix it? do they mean the utility cart he’s was driving?
  14. Btw how long does that VPO Mike Wolfe filed on you last? and how many feet away do you need to stay from his driveway?
  15. I’m really enjoying reading your report. Thanks for sharing. Been to GOTG (brother lives in the Springs) and Red Rock but there was no concert at the time. It definitely would be cool to see one there. Was this your first time to Disneyland?
  16. My two cents. If you’re going in the latter part of the afternoon I would go up to the California Grill and grab a drink and an appetizer. No reservation required just tell them you’re going up to the bar. Which opens at 5 PM. Swing by the Poly and hit trader Sam’s. It does get quite busy in there, it’s a very small place. when we were there last time we walked inside, looked around, and went outside and had a drink on the deck overlooking the bay lake. swing by the grand Floridian and have a drink there also. I don’t think it’s been mentioned about it but at Port Orleans Rive
  17. Kong- excellent. It was well done and a thrill ride that anyone can ride. The ride vehicle reminds me of the trucks in Disney’s Safari ride. No seat belts or lap bar. But you do wear 3-D glasses. You basically ride through different scenes and the truck rocks and rolls with the action on the screens. The action is on both sides of the truck so try and sit in the middle and watch both sides. Btw. Fast & furious ride uses the same technology but IMHO not as well done as Kong and it seemed to be a lot shorter ride.
  18. Finally caught up. We too were tempted by Mythos but we decided no. Kong-excellent harry potters world- excellent transformers-excellent hulk-excellent TR-excellent
  19. but Disney does say the new spot will offer "amazing meals and a spectacular view – from high above Earth." so is it going to be a high rise building or have virtual image windows? i am hoping for a high rise
  20. We stayed at the Radisson next to Crossroads plaza last night. And on your recommendation we went there for happy hour. OMG? The tuna nachos are awesome. The caviar and wasabi on them made the dish! I ate 1/2 a lobster & shrimp fritter and they to were delicious. The shrimp cocktail and crab claws looked delicious. But since I’m allergic and I already ate 1/2 fritter. I dared not try them. Beer was cold and service superb. I did talk to the bartenders about closing and they don’t know when it’s going to happen. But the good news is that they were told the own
  21. Loving all the pix. It’s getting me excited for our up coming trip in 3 weeks lookkng forward to King Kong. It was closed when we were there last year. $59 for four people to eat doesn’t seem bad for all that food. Heck a burger costs you $18 now a days. Loved the chocolate factory we loaded up on candy
  22. Cupcakes!!! some people live for chocolate I love for cake and cupcakes! we are going to Waco for a wedding on June 2nd. And my DW and DD really want to go to the Silos and the Table. At least now I have something to look forward to!
