I really can't pick a better time because there are things about all the years I like. I liked swimming in the lake but I like having a pool now. I liked it when the pool was deep but now we have a slide.

The Fort is the only Disney resort I remember from my childhood. We stayed at others, but they didn't stick out to me.

A recent memory that I love is Ms. Josie teaching Z to hula hoop. He'd been trying for awhile, and she was so patient with him. He was beaming ear to ear.

All I know is when we made our first trip, 1979, it was the same year Jossie and Paullete started and they're still here. :)

I think one reason some people talk about the good ole days in such positive light, is because they only remember the good stuff and forget the bad stuff that went with it. Only my opinion of course, lol !!
It's good to see a post from you Ray, I had noticed you have been gone a while. Hope all is well.

    Ok I'll start.

Since my history doesn't go back as most of you on hear my past memories are quite limited.

But one of my favorite memories was of meeting the person and seeing her camp site at Christmas 2010.  Unfortunately she is no longer at the fort. But she is the one that introduced me to FF.Net and the Fort in general.   I think y'all know who I'm referring to.

My resent memory was meeting several of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting at Dave's site at the Christmas 2014 GG at the fort.

told my DW and DD about the closing of the Osborne family lights and my DD(10) said we have to go for Christmas. (She takes after her daddy). DW said is this a trick to get us to go to WDW for Christmas? Lol
I do t now how it's going to happen but I'm going to try my hardest to try and make it to WDW for at least a few days to see the lights one last time.
    I'll keep y'all informed.
Keep your fingers crossed so I can find affordable airfare and I can talk my DW into it.

The Missing Men Table Ceremony is generally done at banquets, dinners, or any other occasions where setting up a dinner table would appear appropriate. The reason for this ceremony is to acknowledge the inability of our missing to be with us in the celebrations we hold, because they have been left behind, and to honor their sacrifice for this country. This is a very moving ceremony and has been known to spark interest in people who never realized the scope of this issue.
The table that stands before you is a place of honor. In setting this table, we acknowledge those missing from our celebration tonight. And we remember them.
The table is small, and set for one -- Symbolizing the vulnerability of a lone prisoner against his captors. Remember!
The tablecloth is white -- Symbolizing purity of intention in responding to the nation's call to arms. Remember!
The chair is empty, for they are not here. Remember!
The wine glass is inverted -- They cannot toast with us this night. Remember!
The slices of lemon -- Reminding us of their bitter suffering. Remember!
The grains of salt -- Representing the countless tears of the families. Remember!
The single red rose -- Reminding us of loved ones who keep the faith awaiting their return. Remember!
The burning candle and yellow ribbon -- Symbolizing everlasting hope of a reunion with the missing. Remember!
Remember! -- All who have served alongside them; we who have donned the same proud uniform, being sworn to the same faith and allegiance -- We will never forget their sacrifice. Remember!
Remember! -- Until the day they return home, or find eternal peace, we will remember.

    OK.

    I read what I wrote.

I don't see where I called you any names.  Or made any childish statements.

I don't need to cool off.

You said something particularly dumb (saying the Gators have an easy schedule) and I called you on it.

If you don't want to discuss that on a discussion board, then what can I do?

I don't see any reason for me to be the one who is disappointed in myself.

    Go Gata.

Tom lets get one thing straight I'm not a Michigan fan or a Utah fan I'm a OU fan. And I didn't get up in arms because Utah jumped in front of my team. They're jumping to 5th didn't really effect my team.
Nor did I ever say or imply my "poor" team. Did you even read my post?
The fact is that Utah had a bye week and jumped in front of teams that won their games that week. There is absolutely no reason Utah should have jumped from 10 to 5 during a bye week. If they would have played a ranked team that weekend and beat them then yes you can say they should move up.
Also I disagree that it's too early to be worried about who is rank where. Every weekend counts. You take a team like Oklahoma state who is 6-0 and currently ranked 16th, behind 5 teams that have at least one lose. It's going to be a lot harder for them to move up in the rankings. They will only move up if another team loses.
Again. No whining. I don't have a dog in this fight. But please explain to me why Utah deserved to jump from 18 to 10 after beating a, than, 13th ranked Oregon? And now Oregon has a 3-3 record.
And how they jump to 5th, in front of half a dozen ?-0 teams and didn't even play a game?
If you have an explanation on how this is justified I'd love to hear it.

You are correct. I probably should have worded the question differently.
So if you run out of DEF and you just finished a Big Gulp. You can kill two birds with one stone. Lol.

So give me the entire area from Mouse gear to Canada to Mexico. I'll turn it into the biggest light show WDW has ever seen. Lol.

You're right they do look gross but they are delicious.
Just crack them open and eat them.
To me they taste like cooked pinto beans.
You need to try them. You should try everything at least once

I owe all of you southerns, from east of the Mississippi, an apology.
I shamelessly made fun of you and your love of the boiled peanut.
Yes I was a skeptic. How the heck could anyone eat boiled peanuts.
Well about ten minutes ago I pulled in a gas station to meet 3 of my guys to give them some lumber they needed for a job. As I'm waiting for them to arrive I see a sign for boiled peanuts.
Plain an Cajun spice. Not being one to shy away from a challenge I reluctantly bought both flavors.
OMG! Why have I waited so long to try these delicious little morsels?

I hope y'all can find it in your hearts to forgive me for my foolish ways
Thank you and bless your heart.

I'm pretty sure that as long as she's on your rezzie she should be able to use DME.
I think DME would be a great option. It's one of the best perks about staying on property.

    From wdw magic.com
    http://www.wdwmagic.com/resorts/walt-disney-world-resorts-information/news/27aug2015-allergy-friendly-menus-now-available-at-the-majority-of-walt-disney-world-restaurants.htm
Following a successful trial in late 2014, Disney has now completed the roll-out of its new allergy-friendly menu program at Walt Disney World.
Nearly all Disney operated quick service and table service restaurants now offer allergy-friendly menus, meaning that in some cases it will no longer be necessary for a chef to visit the table, and instead, selections can be made directly from the special menu.
For any allergies that are not covered by the menu, or if you prefer to speak to a chef, that option remains available.
The allergy-friendly menus cover the most common allergies, including gluten/wheat, milk, peanut, nut and fish.
We've updated our restaurant information guide to include locations that offer allergy friendly menus. Just choose the restaurant you are interested in, and the overview information will indicate if allergy-friendly menus are available and for which dining period.
