The Fort is awesome at Christmas! We have been going for several years & love it. When the kids were younger we would go to the parks in Christmas & do s character meal but now we go to Mass at the Contemporary & then eat at a different place at a different resort each time. Yes looping, walking around the fort is great to see all the decorations. Sitting at your site & watching all the decorated golf carts & carriages go by is actually fun! We also love to resort hop & see all the decorations. We now only do about 4 park days & spend the rest at the fort, resort hopping, downtown Disney. I couldn't think of anywhere better to be at Christmas!

Galveston Island RV Resort
For any in this area, we just camped here & it's very new, nice & clean. Not the Fort but still a nice campground. Owners are very friendly. Nice pool & club house. We had a roomy pull thru site with a limited view of the ocean. I could drink my coffee & watch the ocean from my dinette table! So relaxing. It's across the street from the beach but easy beach access. Bathrooms are very clean & separate bathrooms.

I still haven't given up on going. If I can pull it off we will more than likely stay in a value. Too few days to drive the RV along with a booked Fort.

Interesting at Downtown Disney they have a security check of Magic
Bands to ride the Disney buses. Making sure you are an in property guest to use the buses.

There is a usually a stand set up that sells hot chocolate & other drinks/snacks.
The restrooms are open.

Definitely Mo. Especially since our July 4th trip I did 19 hours in the parks & had a great time.

I will FB more photos tomorrow. Randy has 43 pics. That was such an amazing fireworks show! Once in a lifetime experience. Just can't get over how awesome it was!
We sat by HDDR to see family & Mrs. Luckow waved to us & said Hello to the Settlers. Kinda like say hello to the peasants. She was feeling no pain. Think she was in 3000 drinking kungalosh.

I will be sure to check it out. My invite must be lost.
