shoreline99 got a reaction from djsamuel in Let's Talk Turkey: TCD's 2016 Thanksgiving at the Fort Trip Report
We have seen way too many 'support' animals in the parks. There is one lady that brings a half dozen poodles in there all the time, and the creepy guy with his dogs has been documented here a few times.
We have a friend that is truly blind and has a service dog, and he gets enraged when the topic of fake service animals is brought up. I believe in dogs or other animals for support (PTSD especially, or for medical reasons like the dogs for disabled or diabetic youth), but pigs? Turkeys? There's a whole lot of crazy there.

Tappan Zee Bridge is the way to go with a trailer. If you're coming from NH, you may want to look at taking 84 over and down 87 as well, not sure if it's any faster coming from where you are.

Traffic through the Cross Bronx and the GWB is totally unpredictable, best to avoid it if possible.

shoreline99 got a reaction from Tri-Circle-D in You Can Now Rent a Private Cabana in the MK
This, to me, is near the absolute bottom of the barrel for money grabbing. In one breath they are complaining about park attendance dropping off and offering all kinds of package discounts to get people to come back to WDW (I have received no less than 4 separate offer codes in the past month), in the next they are offering these stupid party tents that cater to the people that can afford to drop $700 a day for no reason other than they need a place to relax for a few minutes.
    A TENT.
    Think about that.
    Surrounded by planters.
    In plain view.
    Ridiculous.
I would give you a DVC or passholder lounge where the old arcade used to be; those have been in EPCOT for a long time and I don't think anything has moved into that space since it closed.
    A TENT.
    SMDH.

I forgot to mention there is also a LEGO store there. And that calling it 'Downtown Disney DISTRICT' was one of the first things we discovered that weren't used to. Hence the name - so much out there is familiar yet... different.
I have more pics from the two days in the parks, just not from the first night. Phone was dying, and it was late. It was also their Food & Wine Festival while we were there, so I'll touch on that as well.

This game is a lot of fun - it's a trivia game about the outdoors. I saw it at California Adventure in the shop across from Soarin', and promptly looked it up and bought it on Amazon for 2/3 the price while I was standing in the store.
" Education Outdoors Camp Board Game is a game where both children & adults can play & learn fun facts about the great outdoors. The game is designed to grow with the player, starting at level one questions, which are primarily identification of animals. As the players increase in their knowledge about the outdoors, they grow into the higher level questions. A fun & educational game where parents & children can play against each other to get to Camp first."

There is also a booster card set.
Our kids have loved playing this game and it has four levels of play for all ages on the same cards.
    Anyone else have this game?
