A tip of the cap to TCD. Who else could sneak an Al Bundy cameo into a TR.

On a lighter note. Mizzou can't stop the run and Auburn can't stop the pass. The last one to score wins, and it looks like it might be Aub.
There might be 120 points scored before it's over. Yikes

Puig will get plenty attitude adjusters in the regular season next year.....even more likely during spring training.
And he will deserve everything he gets.

    Woo-hoo!
I've been holding out for page 24.....it's my lucky day.
Haven't been in a super Disney mood in awhile. Dropped our oldest off at Mizzou several weeks ago, and it just knocked the wind out of my sails. Not sure how you did it with all 3 being gone. I suspect that you leveraged the sleep deprivation, hot sun, and over eating on the cruise to dull your senses. Excellent play my friend.
There is just too much darned stuff to comment.
Suffice it to say, I've very much enjoyed the cruise play by play. I appreciate how much effort you put in, and it has been a wonderful distraction.
    Cheers

I like the package. After a long drive to get there, I typically lay down on the couch, start reading the info, and fall right to sleep

This is definitely a brag, but it's not sports related. Hope you will allow a slight hijack.
My boy graduated from high school this weekend. He had a myriad of medals, braided cords and sashes to wear. However, the big one was Summa Cum Laude. We don't think he is peaking in high school, but it was one hell of a good start!
    We were extremely proud.

Whoa there captain Lou. It's a small world has attained institutional status in my house. The people mover has a soft place in my heart because of the number of times it has allowed me to escape the brutal heat and lines of a crowded summer day at MK. It was a respit...nay a haven....during some pretty grueling commando days when the kids were young. I am indebted to this somewhat lame ride. :)

Unfortunately, rudeness is almost inescapable in society. When this happens, I usually rely on the intermittent allergic sneezing to the back of their hair/neck. Of course I follow it up with copious amounts of apologies so,that they understand its totally accidental.
Feel free to,incorporate into your repertoire.

There are a lot of great trips to save you money when you go and it acts like a "fun surrogate" when you can't make a trip.

In no particular order of importance or chronology.
    1) if you are getting on 429 south, and the big sign says all lanes close,....get off at the next exit, turn around, or put it in 4 wheel drive and go unconventional. There was an accident Friday morning involving a meers shuttle bus, that completely closed the highway. My gps then spent the next hour telling me that I was 23 miles to my destination. I didn't see any ambulances, so I hoping no one was injured. On the upside, I got peruse all the local fauna that resides just off the 429 shoulder
    2) cowboy beans do not show on the menu, but are still available, and they're great!
    3) All white meat version of GUaG is now $3 more. Maybe it was the same last year and I just wasn't paying attention. I don't care though because its great food and a relative Disney deal
    4) a young checked us in, and was wonderful. Friendly and overflowing with cheer. I wish I remembered her name, but 18 hours behind the wheel, had destroyed my short term memory.
    5) Judy came thorough with reservation...she rocks
    6) Kenny came through with cart....he rocks
    7) it was weird driving past some of the plant frost guards that Disney placed yesterday. It got pretty cold last night
played tennis yesterday evening. The family on the court next to use thought we were bonkers playing in shorts and tshirts. Then I noticed that the wife and daughter were wearing stocking caps. It was 50-something out. Floridians and Midwesterners have vastly dift definitions of cold. They were really nice folks though.
    9) the dog park is rocking this year. It's Bandits and Thors first trip, but they are having a blast. The fewest dogs that have been there so far was 6 dogs. All the dogs have been players and the owners very attentive. My family had a sad moment when we hopped in the golf cart to go the first time. Zeus loved the people/friends that he met at the park. He is missed.
    10) the RFID thing to pay seems to be working pretty well. One hiccup, when first tried to use our KTTW card, it said we were over our balance, even though we had just checked in and hadn't used them. They said there's a glitch in the system. A quick trip next door to the concierge and we were good to go.
    11) the big Christmas tree at the fort is just plain cool. Couple that with the piped in banjo Christmas music, and I'm in a great mood.
    12) this is the first trip to Disney that kind of snuck up on me. Been working 12-14 hour days, so a lot of the buildup and anticipation was lost. I kind of missed that, so I guess I'll just have to come back again.
    13) all the decorations are up on the RV ....bring on the fat man in the big red suit.....ho ho ho
    That is all.

One year we had a little boy, about 6 or 7, coming to our site and just coming right on in to the side room, was not zippered closed as I was outside. When I asked him what he wanted he said to play. I told him our children were in wheel chairs and could not play.
He kept coming back and trying to get in. I finally told him not to come on our site any more or I would have to visit his parents.
I did not see him again at our site. But I have to admit I was afraid he would come while we were gone.
Now, just because this is WDW and most people camping are honest people, did those parents have no concern for their child?
We could have kidnapped the child and who would have known. People MUST be careful with their children. Most of the time when I see this happening it is with first timers or parents who send the children out to roam so they can have peace and quiet. One day, God forbid, something is going to happen to the children and no one will ever know.
Again, there is no cure for stupidity.

When we are in our golf cart we always move to the side of the road for any cars, buses or trucks to pass us. When in the loops we always move over to allow any RVs coming in to pass and get into their site. And we move for people on bikes and walking. I have children and granchildren, as all of you know, and it scares me to see these young children on the roads (even in the loops) with no one supervising them. And we do not allow our grandchildren who do not have a license drive our golf cart.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what one can do when we do see an underage driver? Do we follow them to see what site they are in and then report them? If we do report them will the Disney folks do anything about it?
We have had to move off the side of the roadway, in the loops, to keep our children from being hit in their wheel chairs.
Sometimes I wonder where courtesy and caring went. :soapbox:

We rented a pontoon boat at the Fort. I believe 2 hours was 80 dollars or so. You can get a discount with your AP. It was nice! They tell you not to go into the area on the far right of Bay Lake if you are looking out from the dock because they do the water skiing there. Otherwise, you can go where you like. We made the trip over into the Lagoon and circled the by the MK, GF and Poly. It was a gorgeous day! DO NOT EXPECT TO GO FAST! I think they said it would go 9 mph.
