I've posted this on Facebook before. Not sure if anyone here has seen it. For some reason when I watch it I always want to go up in the attic and put on a fur coat and a ladies turban and pretend it's 8mm. My deepest apologies to those who don't know what an 8mm is. It's not a gun lol.

This story is the biggest crock. This is the guy who crashed in the 700 loop 2 years ago Halloween. The story doesn't even tell any truth about the father racing the other cart. This is the guy who was riding around in the 95 cart all weekend with the red solo cup. I know a friend of his and he said it just so happened the only time he wasn't drunk that weekend was that night. The guys an dingal berry and shouldn't be allowed back at the fort.

I appreciate that Andrew. I've known Judy for several years and I used to see Lil B sitting on the steps and he'd kinda wave or say hey when I'd come by. VW Dano and I were hanging out one night (Dan has known Judy and B longer than me) and B was with him. I wasn't sure to be honest, due to me never being around a special needs person much of his capabilities. Anyway, Dan was telling somebody he was heading home that weekend and Lil B asked if he was going to give him a hug before he left. Now let me explain, Dan is at the fort way more than me and he looks at B and says well you know I'm probably gonna be back after I drop the camper off (30 minutes away) so I got to see he has emotions. Like I said, I've never been around anyone with Downs before so I knew nothing.
Over the past couple years I've spent time with him playing bean bag toss and taking him to lunch or a park. I'll tell you 2 things about him. He WILL beat your ass at bean bags and if you say something you don't want him to hear you'd better be far away because he has bionic ears. He loves people and once he gets to know you and you him there is no more special a friend can you have. I've learned a lot from B and seeing things through his eyes is amazing. For those of you who know Tina who is next to Judy her daughter is also special needs and she's a little doll. There's no words to describe what these people will give back to you.
Sorry to ramble but until you've been around someone with special needs you haven't lived right yet.

Julie, I disagree with your comment about dealing with a company rather than a person. I have a camper rental business and I go to way farther lengths than a big box company to satisfy my customers.
I realize your co. has and will take a hit by Steve doing this. I know a lot more about this situation from some things I'm hearing at the fort. I just hope all this rental stuff doesn't cause a problem with personal carts being brought into the campground.

If indeed Steve knew he was leaving and used his personal cell to divert biz from his employer that is wrong.
If he's only taking cash and giving no receipts that is fishy. I don't know much about golf and electric but I know kenny busts his butt to make his customers happy and he gives receipts and carries insurance. People need to make sure the rental is insured as well.
This is exactly the kind of co. not needed in operation if they're gonna fly by night it.

This should be the cry your damned eyes out thread. I remember the first time I clicked on Daves link for the first child they were trying to adopt and thought, oh that's cool Dave is adopting a special needs child and didn't think much more of it. Then when they were denied that child and seeing the disappointment his family endured, it was like I went through it too. I was worried with Anna they'd get the same result and every time Dave would post on facebook or the boards I was hoping he wasn't going to say we didn't get her or another delay. That last trip to Russia had me on edge every day that something was going to happen even after they took her from the orphanage.
Since everybody else kinda spilled their guts and is being softies I might as well admit I went to the SMGG to enjoy fiends and share good times but had Anna not been there I might have backed out. I mean I had to see Bob for Pete's sake all weekend and drink those teribble toasted almonds Carol made me.
OK back to being the snarky attacking mean people we've been accused of being. Thanks for sharing Anna with us Dave. Your family wins the 2011 feel good about being a fiend award.

I am glad everyone is trying to make this happen again. There's nothing like sharing time with you guys. My daughter took just about every pic we had and that shows me she enjoyed it. Nothing like good memories with our extended famdamily. I know how TCD feels with his twins gwtting older. I feel like time is running out with Annie and this weekend was a really special one to remember.

This has nothing to do with this thread but since it got so far off topic I figure I'd throw something I think is funny in the mix.
