Crazy Legoland discount coupon help needed
BigTom replied to SirSparkles's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Those discount tickets are fairly common around here, usually can get them at Wendy's or McDonalds. Don't have any now, we don't keep them but if I get one will let you know -
I don't know how to word this. but there are a lot of fiends on here who might have room for a fellow fiend to park at there place for an overnight stop when traveling. No hook up, but just a spot to park and rest for the night. I have a spot or two where people could spend the night, but wouldn't help much as I an a little south of WDW. This would be cheaper than a CG and safer than a parking lot.

I would have had to listen to what was offered to trade sites. having been in 2000 loop for holidays and 1500 for holidays, there isn't a lot of difference anymore.

2012 Club Car Precedent - Good Price??
BigTom replied to weekender's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
That sounds too good to be legal. I paid $2500 for mine, 2 years old when bought, it is 2009 and drove to South Carolina to get it. It was about 1500 lower than I could find local and I bought 2 of them so check it real well -

houseofantiquehardware.com has some similar, but they are not cheap. Check page 7-8 under outdoor lights -

Lorus is the brand name on my Mickey Watch, been wearing it about 40 years with only a battery about once a year. Probably will quit now that I mentioned it. -
Good Luck / Bad Luck Trip Report - Spring Break 2015

What is this about broken arms, I had one- a fall, my son had one- car accident, 2 friends children- fall on monkey bars and 1 broken leg all in the past 3 months and now you get in on the action. Sound like an epidemic to me. -
Been wondering, did you DD1 get the job she interviewed for on the phone?

Pop up camper and fort newbie
BigTom replied to Jah's topic in Camper Suggestions: from tents to Class A beauties
Don't worry about which loop you want, they are all good. I usually stay in partial loop with my pop up if available, sometimes have to go to full just to get a space, let Jason do the work of getting you a site. Christmas will be crowded and you need to go back during a slower time to get full benefit of The Fort, you will have a good time just don't try to do everything slow down and enjoy your stay. -
Cruising on the Fantasy with the WBI Family
BigTom replied to WannaBeImagineer's topic in Trip Reports
Conch is tough and chewey, that is why you usually find it in chowder or fritters and I love both, however a long time ago at least 50 years there was a restaurant in the Keys that served conch steak. It was run through a machine that tenderized it similar to cubed steak and it was still a little tough. We also could get Green Turtle steak at that time -

Never tried escargot, but have eaten conch which is a large saltwater snail. -
If I were looking to trade TV right now and I am not, it would be a gas model, largest engine available,3.70 rear ratio, 3500 series, single or dual depending on trailer and 2 wheel drive. No power windows or security system. I want a basic truck with ac and cruise control. NO I would not buy an older high millage diesel.

Preferred Route to FW
BigTom replied to woodardfamily's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
My son has no problem with that turn with his 35' 5th wheel and crew cab truck. It is a very wide road you are turning into. It is easier than going through the main narrow gates and having to get over to the very right lane in a short distance. -
