From where you will be, go east on I-4 to Park Street exit at Plant City, go south to US 92, Ford dealer is on corner and take a right. Right before the road divides,about 1/2 mile, Norma's is on the south side of road. Has a real good Cuban Sandwich, rated the best for several years. I always try to get by there for one when I go to Plant City.

Last couple of times I was at Fort Wilderness, there were large groups in the 1500 loop and less crowding in the 2000 loop. More kids playing in 2000 loop, but it is a larger loop so more sites will have more kids.

Takes a real low life to steal a wheelchair. If you need help with replacement let us know and we can chip in a few $$. BigTom

Excellent report, really enjoyed it.

Those of us in Florida have winter driving problems also. No snow, we have snow birds who don't know where they are going and have all day to get there.

Never thought the Fort was big enough to need a GPS to find your way around. Only have 3 roads and they all end up at same place.

I am always ready for a trip report, bring it on.

Glad you survived Halloween, After 3 weeks in intensive care and another week in rehab, my Doctor says I will live till I die. Will try to join group next year if I am able, have already made reservations for it. BigTom

1600 is a good loop, close to everything.

I made mine so top (head) comes off and transport it in a separate container with bubble wrap.

Most dealers and service centers do not use a WDH. They use a large enough truck to handle the load, you never see a mobile home transporter using one have you.

I had a Chevy Luv Diesel and filled it many times at the truck island. It only held about 10 gallons and never had any problem with the big trucks.
