  1. He said the group was Pro Dad and it is their 4th year there. Had 100 first year, 300 2nd year, 500 last year and expect 600 this year. Had one site taken over by a pro catering business. They also had a few sites in 1600 for rvs. I think this has something to do with Tony Dungy. I am glad I was leaving.
  2. I checked out of 1506 this morning. Group checking in has reserved the whole loop, according to the person I talked to they have 600 people coming in today. They were setting tents up all over the place and had a pile of firewood you couldn't have fit in a pickup truck. One comfort station for 600 sounds crowded.
  3. Looks good, will get base at next show, about 2 weeks away (Will be at the Fort next week and Flywheelers is the next)
  4. I always park at Mallory Pier, It cost a little, but usually pleanty of room for our dually and is convienent to touristy places..
  5. Let me jump in, just DW and I in our 70s. We have a pop up and have stayed in both loops several times. There are more sites in 2000 meaning more people, however we do not prefer 1500 over 2000, have seen large groups in both, last time in 1500 there was a large group camping in three sited must have been at least 40 kids plus adults. Have seen same in 2000 loop so don't feel there is much difference as far as crowd problems being less in one or the other. 2000 has more comfort stations, 1500 has one shared with 1600 loop. I always request close to comfort station and have never been disappoin
  6. Love that campsite in the Keys. We are headed that way in July and thought about changing campgrounds until I saw the price, will have to stay with the State Park.
  7. Interesting start, looing forward to rest of report.
  8. Get a B&W hitch, you can get both hitches for it. We have one in our 1 ton and it works real good When you remove the hitch there is nothing left sticking up in the bed. Don't use adapter to use your gooseneck hitch as it put ore stress on camper frame.
  9. Great report, but when are you going to let him out of the camper?
  10. I rode Space Mountain when it was new, That drop had you held in your seat by the belts, very rough. They closed it after 2 weeks to modify the track and remove it.
  11. Maybe some of us fiends need to talk to that Radiologist so he can get the report right.
  12. Thank you for sharing, I never knew about the college program before and enjoyed you informing us about it.
  13. Of course it takes six workers from the city to replace that grate. 4 to supervise, 1 to do the work and one to operate the winch.
  14. Good to hear from you, been wondering how you were doing.. Has the foot healed up any? Will continue praying for you.. BigTom PS ; I have a 4 wheel electric cart in my barn, bought when I had my spell, if you ever need to borrow it..
  15. Common size, I think Walmart, Tractor Supply even carry them
