  1. This whole thread is giving my name a bad name. And it's giving me a headache...
  2. We lost our converter our first time out this spring. I feel your pain...
  3. Great report, Jason! I've travelled out west several times, and I think its just beautiful! I need to get my daughters out there soon. On a side note, my in-laws live outside Harrisburg. Mere minutes from Hershey. If anyone ever needs a chocolate shake from Hershey, send me a few bucks.. I'll gladly stop and get one for you, and tell you all about it...
  4. Yeah, just think...without Jen and Chris, we'd be looping at the fort, looking at other people thinking "wow...those people are kinda weird..." Now we're sharing drinks with those same people.
  5. I'm good for a couple of really stupid questions per day. Here's the next one... How in the heck do you remove the top from an old milk can? Are they threaded or do they just pull off? I have one at home and want to start a project, but the lid will not come off and I don't want to destroy it. Should I be trying to turn it, or is it rubber mallet time? (For the milk can, not me!)
  6. I cannot believe this has gone an hour with this group and not gotten ugly. I'm out...
  7. Lou...I am not a cat fan at all, but I think this is a great thing you're doing. No animal should ever have to suffer. I think deep down you're a big softie. Your street cred is plummeting...
  8. I'll be booking a week with Donnie as soon as my sister makes up her mind which week she will be joining us. They have never been to Disney or the fort. They are all very excited, but she doesn't grasp the importance of booking early.
  9. I didn't think there were more notches available. As far as online communities go, I think ff.net already sets ghe bar pretty high. Doodle's right though...that is pretty cool!
  10. OK...I caught up over a few cold ones in the recliner last nite. Where's today's update already?
  11. Don't depend on your truck jack to be able to change a TT tire. It may not be strong enough (depends what you're pulling) or it may not lift high enough. I wish I had a dollar for every time someone called work needing assistance because they had a spare, but not a jack that would work. (or, God forbid...not the right size lug wrench) I would have...well...a lot of dollars. A good, dependable jack and correct lug wrench will always be cheaper than roadside assistance along the interstate.
  12. How' bout "Dam...with all the money I've blown on mugs, I could have made 2 more trips to the fort"?
  13. One would tend to think I could probably translate Todd-ease, but even I have great difficulty. I have to believe that it is not actually pure Todd-ease, but some twisted southern Todd-type dialect. Please do not paint us all with the same brush...
  14. Look at me...first page of a TCD report! With two little girls, Star Wars is not a real big draw for us. Can't wait to hear about it though .. Always seems to be an interesting crowd ...
  15. Doesn't sound dumb to me! Sometimes ya' gotta go with "whatever works ". I'll have to try the dryer sheet trick soon.
  16. Wipe your front-facing surfaces with Rain-Ex. Yeah, the stuff for windshields... Bugs won't stick nearly as bad. Wipe them off with a damp rag. Much easier than scrubbing them off without using it. Thank my dad for that trick..
  17. State government wasting money? That's blasphemy! The problem is that most of these requirements are just that, "requirements", not suggestions. And many of them make no sense whatsoever. Case in point, our State Police Barracks. The current one, and the new one being built, both have to be 100% ADA compliant. I completely understand some of it...wheelchair accessibility, etc. But riddle me this, batman...why does every sign inside need braille? It's a secure building, absolutely nobody walks around unescorted. In the lobby? I can understand that. But past the security doors? You will
  18. We have storage under the bed in the master bedroom of our 5er. A large hinged area, accessed by lifting the foot of the bed. I added a hasp and padlock to create some secure storage. What do I keep in there? I'm not telling...
  19. Microwave. Movie first, then book. Bus or Monorail? (Sorry, Lou!) I prefer Monorail. Not because it's "better", it's just a Disney icon from my childhood.
  20. Great TR, great looking family. You are making the kind of memories that will be with you forever. One thing I have to ask...is it camera angle, or is Marie just a little drink of water? It almost looks like she'd be looking up to Stef... Not a thing wrong with that, just an observation. Carry on...
  21. I see that...one lone blonde. Other than that, all pretty much alike. You can't see it from this angle, but the one all the way in the back is probably wearing a purple tu-tu...
  22. This simplifies everything. And just think of all the money they will save on things like letterhead. Buses will be cheaper, too. They can now order them with a single "Disney Parks" sign instead of paying for all of the lighting and technology currently needed to change them constantly. How long do you think it will take Disney to pass the savings on to us?
  23. Hey Norm...when are you going to Niagara? We'll be there June 18-22, and probably part of the weekends on both ends... Grand Island KOA, next to Martin's amusement park
