Hooking up water...
Live4FW replied to twiceblessed....nacole's topic in Camper Suggestions: from tents to Class A beauties
If you purchased from three-way, likely the hose that came with the camper will already have the regulator on the end. The two we purchased there came with a start up kit with hose, regulator, basic sewer hose. It would be a brass 1-3 inch long piece that would just go in-line on the hose. This should be connected to the spigot at the campground before attaching your hose. -
Early Arrival Question
Live4FW replied to PAWDWcamper's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Coming at of atlanta can be brutal after work. We found getting up an leaving in middle of the night makes for.a less stressful trip. Kids sleep and Much less traffic. Dad can sleep once he gets there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Triangle tires?
Live4FW replied to twiceblessed....nacole's topic in Camper Suggestions: from tents to Class A beauties
Interesting.... I had never heard on Contractor's Tire. I have done a lot of business with Three Way and live nearby and didn't know anything about the place. I will check them out. I am taking a look at the tires and doing a short tow with it this weekend so I will have a better idea of their condition and how soon I need to replace them. Thanks! -

Freedom from the Polar Vortex... The GDF family sails RCCL
Live4FW replied to GaDawgFan.....Kelly's topic in Trip Reports
Guilty as charged! Just wanted to post to say how much I am enjoying your trip report. I have only cruised DCL but find this RCL cruise to be very impressive. I may have been convinced to try them next time. Doesn't look like it will be anytime soon but we just keep coming to the realization that we can't afford DCL. Keep it coming. -
Tim, You're a garden railroader? So I am I. Pretty small layout and I am just getting back into the hobby after a long hiatus. Been clearing weeds and overgrowth off the tracks and trying to get it cleaned back up. Got my spike thanks to old Lou and TCD proudly displayed in a shadowbox in my family room. This plank idea is awesome. Will have to work at getting me some of that.

DISNEY SUED over new GAC policy.
Live4FW replied to Grumpy and Grandma's topic in Camping with DisAbilities
Wow, when I first read this I thought they were suing about the GAG policy......That would be blasphemy. Thank god, I was worried for a moment. Seriously, due to the abuse of the program by some, this is becoming an issue for those who really need assistance. My suspicion is that Disney will appropriately accommodate anyone with specific needs but the guest needs to be able to explain needs first which I am sure some are unwilling to do that because they still think they are entitled. -
That is awesome. I smell business opportunity!

Classic Beauty?
Live4FW replied to Katman1356...Jason's topic in Camper Suggestions: from tents to Class A beauties
One thing that may make this a more interesting choice is that the van would give you and Sil a quick camping getaway option without the PUP. You could set up an air mattress and it would be pretty comfy compared to a tent. I am thinking about trying to create a camping package that can be put in and taken out of our new van to give us a quick weekend camper. -
Classic Beauty?
Live4FW replied to Katman1356...Jason's topic in Camper Suggestions: from tents to Class A beauties
Wow, that van is in incredibly good shape. Looks a lot like the 77 Chevy Beauville van we had when I was a kid. The only caution that I will give you is the engine is pretty anemic. I have had two of them (79 and 84) in previous pickups. Gutless, especially with the 2 barrel carb.. -
Towing Advice Needed

Ford announced 2015. No word yet on tow ratings. This will be the only engine offered. No more V8 -
Disintegrating Dodge Dash
Live4FW replied to Travisma's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
Yup, mine did the same but didn't start until about 2-3 years ago. I have and '02 also. From what I have researched, Dodge is doing nothing about it, nor the heater doors that break.... -
We are thinking about trying to squeeze in a quick camping trip this weekend and I was wondering if anyone was going to be out camping in our area. We are located in Cobb and I am wanting something fairly close by. We are also thinking about going to the Atlanta Camping and RV Show. Anyone heading there want to meet up?
