I'm in too. Great start!

We are more than disappointed. We are devastated. This was to be our first month-long trip. We've waited 13 months for it. Now it appears that we'll have to wait at least another 12 months. We are part of the "sandwich generation." And it's no fun. But life could be worse.

Mitzi, we currently have reservations for November 5 - December 5 on a premium site. We are about 99% sure we'll have to cancel the first week. And about 90% sure we will have to cancel the entire trip.

I've been to the Fort several times in November. Always take my winter coat and always have to wear it part of the trip. One trip was 30 degrees at night ... another was in the low 40s with a stiff wind ... be prepared for any weather!

Thanks for the list! Unfortunately most of the restaurants we'll be visiting on our upcoming trip are only 10% off. Guess we'll be buying Tables in Wonderland again.

Back in the '80s we had a TT and the kids were young. We packed lots of deli meats, cheese, and snacks in the fridge for meals on the road. Now that it's just the two of us and we have a Class A diesel pusher, we frequent Cracker Barrels for meals since we usually overnight there. Still pack snacks -- nuts, protein bars, soft drinks. The night before we arrive at the Fort we stop at the Pilot/Flying J in St. Augustine and usually get burgers at Denny's. Leave there around 4:30 am, drive to the Fort, and have breakfast at Trail's End while we're waiting for our site assignment.

Sorry to hear about your motion sickness. Sounds like yours is a lot worse than mine. No fun.

I totally sympathize. For our longer trips I spend hundreds of hours writing my trip reports, and it's really disheartening when I feel like only a handful of people read them.
