We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside in August of 2004 for our son's wedding at Sunset Pointe behind the Polynesian. We absolutely HATED POR. The rooms were so dark that I could barely see well enough to put my makeup on. But this was before the reno. Hopefully that issue has been resolved. Also the grounds were so dimly lit that we could barely find our way back to our room. Last fall we visited POFQ and were pleasantly surprised with the grounds. It is obviously a better resort than POR.

Me too, as long as the replacement isn't Spectro. I didn't like that one at all.

On a premium site the tabletop is 48" x 48". Don't know the overall dimensions.

The waterfall was beautiful, but I don't miss the bad odor of it.

So many memories! I remember the great breakfasts at the Top of the World in the Contemporary. River Country. The early days of Downtown Disney. When the Magic Kingdom was the only park at WDW, but it was so great that we couldn't get enough of it. Even though we never had enough E-tickets to see everything we wanted. LOL -- we even thought a trip to the World was so expensive back then!

I'd agree with you if we were only staying a week. But I can do a lot of damage to my body in a month!

I'm trying to figure out the amount of carbs in those sundaes. In any event, too many for me.

I've been in both October and November when it was freezing cold. Low 40s at night. Whenever you visit, pack cold and warm clothes.

I just made reservations for fall 2018 and didn't even look at what I paid. Guess I should check that!

The entire ride is politically incorrect from beginning to end. So what! I don't care. It's still fun. It's probably historically correct. People need to get over themselves.

I'd be so disappointed if we didn't get a "welcome home"! Think I'd ask for it.

We've decided to go to Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving. Maybe even pick up the food the day before.

The only times I've ever made a reservation are when we have a large party. Or when it's imperative that we eat at a certain time. Otherwise we just walk up and have never been turned away. But we don't visit at busy times.
