Wow. Magnolia Table looks just like it did on their TV show. The food looks great! While I'd love to see Waco, it's 1200 miles from home and Chip and Joanna would have to pay me several million for me to ride that far. I can't believe you drove the distance you did on the first two days. It would have taken me at least a week.

We haven't read Trailer Life in years, have never had a subscription to it ... but, lo and behold, the May issue appeared in our mailbox today! The author says she has become a Fort Fiend. Does that mean she's actually joined here, or she's just claiming the title by association without knowing anything about our group? And isn't "Fort Fiends" trademarked?

Carol, I so agree with you! We also purchase an annual pass every two years. Go one year for a month, go the next year for a month the month before our passes expire. So we get two months' admission on each AP.

We joined through our credit union. The only perk I remember was the discounted tickets. Back then our kids were young and we couldn't visit during off-season.
