We got site 1510. It's really nice. Currently down at the Meadow Pool. At 9 pm the water feels like bathwater it's so warm. Just walked over to the trading post and got a modem. Will hook it up tomorrow and have WI fi at the site.

She also made a preemie onesie for our nieces baby with the same design that says Future Disney Camper. We mailed it to her today.

Getting excited about our upcoming trip...now I need suggestions for storing everything. I would like to put a canvas hanging storage bag across the top above the cabinet. Any ideas how to attach it without damaging anything. We saw a great idea from Jason but don't want to put any pressure on our roof, older pop up.

I just went up to the reception area and calmly asked for a manager after we had checked out. I explained we were long time visitors and told him why our stay in the 2000 loop was the worst one we ever had. The manager eventually asked what I wanted him to do and I turned it around and asked him what he thought he should do to make me happy. He ended up giving us a free day. And I'm guessing that might've helped us get into the 1500 loop this stay.

We got the 2000 loop last time. That's why we ended up getting a comp day. It was a terrible experience.

Oh, beleive me that's the Good News part. The semi is waiting to see what site we get.

This should draw the crowds away from all of the other parks!

Had to call about a comp day credit and couldn't get thru to the person that was in the letter I received. In their voicemail they listed another number to call which was Fort Wilderness Operations. A very pleasant CM took my information, said just show the letter at check in, and that she was noting my reservation about the comp day. She then said " i show you checking into the 1500 Loop" !!!!!!!. Yeeehawwww! I asked did she know what site, she said it was listed but she couldn't tell me in case things change. At least we're not delegated to the third world 2000 loop this time. Wh

My wife just finished making about 15 t shirts with Mickey's head in a flag motif for all of us to wear for the cart parade and our HDDR reservation on the 4th. I'll try to upload a picture when I get home.

Nice. You guys have way too much energy! Engine and axle swap wow. I was thrilled when we got our used pop up and I aired and swept it out and tightened a couple of screws. I felt I had accomplished a lot.

I don't know if it was the way it was recorded or if they just sound horrible, but it was pathetic .

Just make sure you go potty during daylight hours

If they hauled out the logs and other debris, they might actually get some water flowing thru there.

Last year we booked a partial site on our first tenting trip. When we got there they bumped us up to a full in the 1800 loop. Maybe you would get lucky and they would do the same for you. If they say something about the TT going into a partial, just say when you booked you had a pop up and since your not using a sewer connection you didn't think it would matter.

They weren't sweating, they were glistening. Sweating isn't allowed on Disney properties. It's not Magical enough!

Does anyone know if the northern loop of the canoe trail has been cleared up. This is the one between the 1400, 500, and 600 loops. Last time we went thru there in October it was full of floating logs, branches and slime. It made for slow going. I mean it's not like they just opened the canal.

Called this morning, gave them my requests, then faxed in the same request about a 1/2 hour later.

I was just getting ready to fax my loop request for our 6/29-7/6 stay when I got an email from Disney Destinations. It had a countdown calendar, the checkin/out times, a map, etc. It also had a phone number listed. When I called it, it was answered as Fort Wilderness. So, should I fax in my request, or call the number back and ask them to note my preferences in my reservation since the number goes to the Fort and not central reservations?

Why wouldn't they be directed to use the DVC pool at the Lodge ? Isn't it good enough for them?
