  1. Another place to,check for inexpensive shirts are Dollar Tree stores. They don't always have them and they may not have your sizes but for a buck they are worth checking out.
  2. If you have a color printer, they used to sell iron on paper you could run thru your printer and then iron on the shirt. Some of them came with software so you could flip the design so any words would come out the correct way.
  3. You looking for inexpensive already printed shirts, or custom ones?
  4. Sounds like the Monster High dolls that have been out for a couple of years. They are the kids and grandkids of the famous monsters.
  5. Do you think a surge protector is necessay for a pop up with 110v service? I have an inverter in it that powers one 12v overhead light a 12v step light, and 3 110v outlets. We don't have any built in electrical devices in the PUP. I do have a small micowave we may use inside of it if it's too rainy outside to cook. Also an induction type hotplate. Nothing will be left on inside of it while we are away from the site. I am bringing a portable ice make that will be set up under a tarp and will have it's own extension cord going to it from the power pole. That will be left on while we a
  6. I think I read somewhere that they are going to build "Avatar!! The Musical" in place of Indy. :rofl3: Just imagine 7 foot tall blue critters tap dancing off the stage and into the audience! And they are going to flatten Adventureland, Frontierland and Liberty Square to make Frozen World, Land of Ice and $$$, and also a 3 story Cinnamon Bun Stand.
  7. See, you say that you only get one or two big snow storms a year. Well it's the same with us and hurricanes. At least we know they are coming and can ignore them until the last minute until you decide you need supplies and then the stores look like a plague of locusts went thru. And yes, you can keep adding clothes to keep warm, until you get so overdressed you look like a tick ready to explode and you can't sit down. Feet melting to the pavement just builds calluses up so you no longer have to purchase shoes... a big money saver. Giant dog sized bugs just means a free pet that you do
  8. I stand corrected. Since it's such a great ride, I thought it would have it's own listing, not buried in the TCD section. I had to go back and read it again.
  9. Lou, do you have any of the Mr Potato Head Star Wars figures?
  10. What's interesting is that they don't mention the evening wagon or carriage rides on the flyers. We had the greatest time taking the grandkids on the wagon ride thru the loops. It was around a holiday and we got to see a lot of decorations. Has anyone heard a time yet for the Fourth Of July cart parade?
  11. So is it just the limited edition ones that have to be linked to tickets? I see you that you can purchase regular bands on and off property.
  12. But Brady and Marty both left out one important thing about where they live.... Snow, ice and freezing weather for about 5 months out of the year!
  13. I don't know if someone else mentioned them, but the wagon rides in the evening are great.
  14. We haven't been to the parks in years, but have been to the Fort numerous times. That said, we are fairly local(Tampa), so I would probably feel different if I traveled any distances. Do you have kids? If so the best place to take them is Animal Kingdom Lodge. They have a lot of kids activities, animals to watch, and they have an activity room open all day and night that has arts and crafts, video games, Disney movies, etc. great place to hang out and relax. You could try to find the old railroad tracks and see if you can locate a spike. Fish, walk along the canal over to Golden Oaks. Hang
  15. Thanks Lou. That's kind of what I was figuring. Since we aren't doing parks a bus or boat ride is no big deal to us, but this is a big trip for them and I'm sure they will want to have as much time as possible in the Parks. So SSR is Saratoga?
  16. They are fantastic. We sure wouldn't have enough room to bring something like that in our pop-up or pickup. We already look like the Beverly Hillbillys putting stuff aside for our upcoming trip, and we are barely started! Guess that's an advantage of a TT.
  17. Not really Fort related, but definitely transportation related. We will be at the Fort 6/29 thru 7/5 or 6. We are not going to parks, will probably do resort hopping and go off property to SeaWorld since we have passes besides chilling at the Fort. My in laws are going to be there the same time, but they are staying in a Treehouse. I know they have plans for MK and I'm guessing the other parks since it's the grandkids first visit here. Any hints on the best way for them to get to the different parks? I know it'll be all busses or possibly taking their car, but any routes better than
  18. Saw this on a Facebook page http://teespring.com/Dolewhip
  19. What? You mean to say that ABC Family isn't family oriented? They talk about teenage pregnancies, gay couples, gay families, pretty little liars, killers, all family, oriented for the Borgia family.... Or the Trashdashians. And don't get me started on Honey Boo Boo.
  20. The last time we stayed at the Fort it seemed like it took longer to get the internal bus then it did to go from Animal Kindom back to the Fort via Hollywood studios.
  21. Use the Segways that are hidden behind the 4th tree to the right of the Trading Post and take the secret tunnel under the lake from the Fort to the MK. You come out inside of Cinderella's Castle.
  22. No license is needed for fishing. Bikes are a great way to get around. I can't answer about the 1200 loop, but there is an Android/IOS app called Fort Wilderness Sites that has pictures and sizes of most of the sites in the Fort. There is a link to Google Earth of the fort that will give you a rough idea of the size and distances. There are trails to walk on, a path that goes to Wilderness Lodge, nightly wagon rides, fireworks at the Magic Kingdom that you can see from the beach, a nightly electrical water pageant that passes the beach nightly around 9:40 or so. There is a lot to do
