  1. Picking up a used Coleman Saturday. Had one years ago. One question, do you level/stabilize the unit before or after you crank up the roof? Same for taking it down. Stable or free floating?
  2. Spreadsheets? We don't need no stinkin spreadsheets! Just wing it. :jumpforjoy Glad it worked out for you. We've got a long weekend planned for Halloween so we will be missing you.
  3. If you have a Harbor Freight nearby, they have inexpensive hole saw sets. They aren't the greatest if you were to use them everyday, but for an occasional hole they work great. Check out local thrift stores for old lamps to salvage fixtures from also
  4. I just ordered the same one. Reading about them, it seems like they will keep a selected color on start up IF you shut them off with the remote. Reviews said they come back on in a rotating color scheme if you shut off the power to the fixture which a sensor would do Either way for less than $5 it sounds like something fun to play with.
  5. Well, we got a Disney gift card and a Hoop D Do gift card for Christmas. So some spending is already taken care of. We aren't park visitors, so they won't get our dollars there. We do enjoy hotel hopping, so there may be a visit to Beaches and Cream in the future, and definitely a few Dole Whips.
  6. Went to MDE last night and selected our magic band colors.
  7. It didn't even keep my two granddaughters attention enough for them to finish it.
  8. Our next planned/reserved trip to the Fort is Halloween weekend 2014. I'm sure there will be weekend trips before then, but this one is locked in. Now I know Disney wants to make our stay magical, and to plan out every waking moment while we are on property, but I think they are getting a little ahead of themselves. Saturday we received a box with Mr Incredible on it, and inside was a welcome kit with a Mickey thumb drive to help with our vacation planning. I guess they don't check their records and saw that we've been to the Fort numerous times. Guess they want to make sure we book
  9. Is the internal traffic as bad as the I-4 traffic I saw eastbound yesterday? It was almost a standstill from Seaworld back to 192.
  10. If you can get into the Boardwalk overflow lot, and if you don't mind walking, there is a walkway from Boardwalk to Hollywood Studios along the canal. It's not that far and it's a pleasant walk. Of course you still have to put up with the HS crowds.
  11. Last year Celebration had ice skating (plastic), kids train rides, and wagon rides (similar to the one at the fort). I can't remember if they were just on the weekends or during the week also. They have a web site that should list schedules.
  12. When we were in 2000 in October, we lost power on a Sunday for most of the day. It finally came on about 5 p.m. Guess the 2000 loop is becoming the forgotten city.
  13. Also, on select evenings, Chef presentations of "Wilderness inspired" appetizers will be provided....... Road kill and fish found floating in Bay Lake during the week. Fridays will be roast Bambi from the deer that get hit by the service trucks. Saturdays will be grilled gator tail Sundays will be goulash made up of all leftovers.
  14. Backpack maybe unintentionally, but that's only because the others were getting to darn pushy and invading my space.. We always had the stroller folded up as soon as we spotted the bus arriving. Ohhh stroller as a weapon. Good idea, put sharp pointy things all over it and play Mad Max! At the cost of food at the parks, who the heck is going to waste it feeding flying rats (pigeons)! My biggest complaint and they didn't list it, is gathering together and blocking the walkways, or walking 3 or 4 abreast and moving at a less than snails pace, again blocking sidewalks, aisles, etc.
  15. A liberal coating and you should be good to go all day and night! May be a little rough getting changed..... :rofl3: A Watertight, Flexible Rubberized Coating!Flex Seal®, in Original, Brite, and Clear sprays out a liquid that seeps into cracks and holes, and dries to a watertight, flexible rubberized coating! Flex Seal®, Flex Seal® Brite, and Flex Seal® Clear seal out water and last for years! Once dry, Flex Seal®, Flex Seal® Brite, and Flex Seal® Clear can be painted any color!
  16. We were in the 2000 loop the beginning of October for a long weekend. We had 2 large groups in the loop, and each one seemed to try to be ruder and louder then the other. You can see my entire rant in the trip reports. When we checked out I asked to speak with a manager. I explained calmly what we had encountered during our visit and how disappointed we were that these types of activities were allowed to occur at this "magical" place. They ended up comping us one of our days. It took about 3 weeks to get the letter with the info on how to claim out free night. It was nice to get the free
  17. Railroad, but since that's been mentioned numerous times, how about the breakfast truck that used to visit the loop with groceries every morning.
  18. They did the same to an old railroad bridge over the Hudson River at Poughkeepsie a few years ago. It has been a huge success. New business's have opened nearby, parks have opened and been expanded, and now they are building an elevator to make it easier for handicapped users to get to the walkway. They have a lot of events on and around it. Some you have to enter drawings to get access to the bridge because it's so popular. Omaha built a new walkway across the Missouri River to Council Bluffs Iowa. people use it year round even in the snow.
  19. Yup, I remember the bushes and the weird little window.
  20. Have you been looking for indulgent romantic night at Walt Disney World? Perhaps something Grand? How about a perfect night aboard the Grand 1 Yacht at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You can experience this luxurious getaway for an extra special celebration or just spend a relaxing day out on the water. Grand 1 Yacht at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa The Grand 1 is spectacular 52-foot Sea Ray Sedan Bridge Yacht that's available to rent for luxurious cruises on the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake.
