Go to the front desk at the Lodge and they will give you the hint sheet for the hunt.

I forgot about that, I was thinking of your credit card bill.

What, you don't trust Disney's billion dollar system to get you into the parks? Oh the shame..... I think the reason they went with the Magic Bands is to get more $$$$ from the suckers err happy vacationers. It's so easy just to tap your wrist when Joey wants that $50 stuffed Mickey, no stopping to take your credit card out! Spend spend spend and faint when you get the bill three weeks later. We were at Aquatica the other day and they have bands you can link to a credit card or a cash deposit so you don't have to get your wallet wet. What was interesting was the fine print that if y

How old are,the kids? My 5 and 8 year old granddaughters love it. There are a lot of activities to do over there that are free. They have cookie decorating, brass rubbings, a arts and crafts play room, and even more.

In a similar vein, Busch Gardens is "almost" ready to open Falcons Fury. Article said there were some construction delays. It said they had to order some new cables because the first ones were sub-standard and the new ones had to come from overseas. I had heard that in the beginning the test dummys were popping out of the cars.... this is just a rumour. But think about it, they are dropping you face first 300+ feet at 60 mph. Imagine the strain on the equipment and your body trying to keep everything from smashing into the ground. Either that or the free fall isn't that far and the re -
Shooting a commercial for the new "Fort Not So Wilderness" DVC. They are showing how all of the dirty, filthy, nature infested real tress will be removed and replaced with authentic fiberglass replicas. Allergy free so Buffy and Tad don't get the sniffles while enjoying nature!

Freezer at the fort ?

Run to the 7-11 around the corner and hide it behind the frozen burritos and tv dinners that have been in the freezer the last 5 years... :rofl3: -
Disney lanterns

Stopped at K-Mart last night. Got a Tink figurine holding an LED lantern, a Mickey with a light up gazing ball, and a light up globe with a Mickey figure inside on a pole about 3 foot tall. They had the Tink lantern that Derek got, but it was missing the light assembly. I asked them if the would discount it since the major piece was missing, and they said they would take off a whopping 10%. WOW what a bargain. They had Mickey and Minnie figurines holding lanterns, Mickey on a motorcycle, various Disney planters, garden signs, and a 2 foot+ tall lighthouse with Mickey standing in front of -
Fishing in the canals at Fort Wilderness

Use smaller hooks. Most of your catches will be small panfish, but a small hook can catch a large fish also. -

4th of July week was going to be a major trip for us. This was the first time we were going to actually camp for a week (we had done the cabins for that long), but not tenting/real camping. Second, relatives were going to be at the Treehouse and at the parks and we were going to meet up with them when we could. They had a pretty tight schedule since their kids had never been to Disney and my nephew was utilizing every planning app known to mankind to get everything to fit into their schedule. Third all of my kids would be coming over for dinner on the 4th at Hoop De Do. We had a total -

Someone stole my car magnet

I had a concert bumper sticker peeled off of my van years ago. It had been on there for a while so someone had to work hard at getting it off. Just glad it was on my bumper instead of the back door. Speaking of bumper stickers, does anyone remember the old cardboard type that were attached to your bumper with wire? Attractions used to send workers out in the parking lots to attach them to the bumpers while you were visiting for the day. Naked bumper when you arrived, decorated when you left with a sign that said I visited XXX. -
Significant ‘Star Wars’ Presence Planned for Disney Theme Parks Variety August 5 The Walt Disney Co. plans for “a far greater ‘Star Wars’ presence” in its theme parks, company chief Bob Iger said Tuesday. The first look at new attractions based on the sci-fi franchise, beyond “Star Tours” that currently operates at several of its parks, will be revealed next year, Iger said during a conference call with analysts to discuss Disney’s record third quarter results. The move comes as Disney is readying to release a new “Star Wars” film in theaters starting Dec. 18, 2015, that J.J. Abrams is curren

Click on the info tab at the top of the page, and it should lead you to a page with different articles. One of them is the 6 lives of the FWRR. It has the history of it and some information on where the tracks were. It was one of the Forts best attributes , along with Marshmallow Marsh Excursion, the peacocks, and the breakfast supply truck. -
Stay out of the lakes AND the ocean

A lot of people feel the same way about pools as others feel about boats.... It's a love hate relationship. The two best days of a boat ownership is the day you buy it and the day you sell it. Pools you either love them or hate having to take care of them. Of course it's easier to get rid of a boat than a pool. -

Remember the good old days when you you just went to a ride, got in line, and waited? And for dinner you called that morning or maybe a day or two in advance, or you just showed up and got in. Now you have to plan 6 months in advance for everything.
